Due to its dimensions and large radii the HEWI support handles can be optimally access. The portfolio will soon be complemented by support arms that are individually and flexibly. If necessary, the portable support arm is simply snapped into the fixed mounting plate. If the support arm does not require the mounting plate can be covered with a cap to match the surface of the support arms grip. HEWI offers even more design freedom with a washbasin whose length can be defined individually. The basic model has an unchangeable depth of 415 mm and a minimum width of 850 mm. The washbasin can be widened up to a maximum length of 2,800 mm. Asymmetrical versions are possible. The new washbasin model has an oval basin and support rails attached to the front, which can also be used as towel rails. With the made to measure washbasins it is possible to realise precisely fitting solutions. The washbasins are produced with millimetre precision, so that they can be fitted perfectly into the sanitary room.

Mobile hinged support rails provide reliable support and can be used flexibly. If it is needed the portable hinged support rail is simply latched into the permanently installed mounting plate. If the hinged support rail is not needed it can also be removed easily and the mounting plate can be concealed with a masking cap.

The variants available are white-white, white-anthracite, anthracite-white and anthracite-anthracite. The surface of the cantilever is glossy and that of the grip pad is matt. This provides extra hygiene and a better handle thanks to the soft feel of the matt surface. The new design is rounded off by a chrome disc on the joint.

Special projects solutions Sanitary ranges for special areas of use The area of use determines the requirements set for a product. HEWI provides suitable solutions -- whether they are flexibly usable accessibility fitout options, products with a supporting hygiene function or suitable solutions for patients who are severely overweight. HEWI active + - sanitary products with antimicrobial effect Especially for areas with the highest hygiene requirements, HEWI has developed products with an anti-microbial effect. The products provide effective protection against bacterial contamination. This is achieved by using microsilver, which is broadly effective against bacteria and fungi. It discharges silver ions, which inhibit the growth of bacteria and other unwanted germs, and so minimise the risk of infection for humans. Within 24 h, any unwanted germs on the surface of the products are continuously reduced, so that 99.9% of all germs are reduced within this period. The integrated antimicrobial protection of HEWI active+ supports hygiene effectively. The microsilver is uniformly incorporated in the polyamide during production. This firmly bonds the additive with the product and makes it insensitive to UV light and cleaning methods. Due to the porous surface of the microsilver the material used has an excellent depot effect, which following incorporation in the polyamide has a lasting, reliable effect. HEWI active+ impacts neither the environment nor the human organism. The active substance is ECO CERT certified and is suitable for use with skin care products. A comprehensive range of lever door handles, sanitary accessories and care products are available in the classic round tubular design in the colour signal white.
