As part of our 120-year anniversary celebrations we brought our suppliers and colleagues together for a superb trade show which raised £200k, a figure which Brewers are delighted to match to total £400k. This significant donation will be made to ‪@dreamlandmission3123‬ in Kenya to fund their new A&E department. Our next team of Brewers colleagues going out to Dreamland Mission Hospital to volunteer and learn about the great work the hospital carry out, will be in September 2025 when we hope the A&E department will be completed and fully functioning. The Gilded Elm is a structure designed by artist Elpida Hadzi-Vasileva, formed out of one half of the Preston Twin Elms. The tree suffered from Dutch Elm Disease, and was destined to be burned, but has now been turned into a work of art and put back in place next to its twin in Brighton's Preston Park. Hear from Elpida and others as they describe the journey the project has been on.

At Brewers we absolutely love a paint festival, so we were thrilled to be able to help Swindon Paint Fest once again, donating over 200L of Albany Paint to incredibly talented artists who designed murals for all over the town. Hear from organiser Caryn and artists Andrew and Adam about what the festival is, and why having art in the community is important.

Brewers were thrilled to be able to support a close to home project with the creation of a mural in celebration of the Turner Prize 2023. Devonshire Youth Collective and Sanctuary have joined forces to work with Nadina Ali to bring some creative energy to the streets of Eastbourne! Love, Empathy, Respect, Dignity have been painted in bold typography along the Redoubt hoardings to help bring some colour to Eastbourne.

Brewers were honoured to be able to provide masonry paint to the Black Icons Project as a part of the Brockley Max Festival 2023. Hear from Moira, Jennifer and Roxanne about how the project came about and why it is important to the community of Brockley and Lewisham. The Brockley Max Festival was from the 2nd to the 10th of June, where there were 9 days of over 70 events from live music, theatre and art to comedy, poetry nights and workshops. As a part of the festival, the Black Icons Project consisted of the local community selecting 4 inspirational black women who would become the focus of 3 murals. Rosamund Adoo-Kissi-Debrah Mavis Best and Kristins and Sadé Alleyne were selected by members of the public and steering committee for their incredible and aspirational work.
