List of featured suppliers of SOIL STABILISATION Geogrids on Building Products Index
Soil stabilisation is a process of altering the physical and chemical properties of soil to increase its strength, durability and load-bearing capacity. This is achieved by adding materials such as cement, lime or fly ash to the soil. Geogrids, on the other hand, are synthetic materials used to reinforce soil. They are typically made of high-strength polymers and are placed in layers between soil to reduce horizontal movement and increase stability. This can be beneficial in road constructions, embankments and retaining walls.
