List of featured suppliers of CONCRETE: APPL. AFTER CONCRETE HAS CURED Repairing Reinforced Concrete Corrosion Inhibitor on Building Products Index
Concrete is a composite material used in construction made of cement, water, and aggregates such as sand or gravel. Once the mixture has been poured and set, it undergoes a curing process which strengthens and solidifies the concrete. After the curing process is complete, the concrete can be repaired as needed. In some cases, reinforced concrete is used to increase its strength. However, over time, the reinforcement may become vulnerable to corrosion due to exposure to the elements. To prevent this, a corrosion inhibitor may be applied to the reinforced concrete to slow down or prevent the corrosion process.
