Hep2O from Wavin is one of the UK leaders in warm water underfloor heating and a major supplier to both the residential and commercial sectors.
We have underfloor heating solutions for new-build or renovation projects, with any floor construction or type of heat source, backed up by our complete project design service.
Hep2O is a complete system that is product-based and provides the highest possible heating performance while being quick and easy to install.
Main Product Solutions:
If you want to heat a screeded floor – either new or existing, we have the right solution for you. Our systems include staples, system plates, polystyrene insulation panels with integrated pipe, and low build systems that minimise build height on existing floors.
For battened or joisted timber floors, our foiled polystyrene systems provide great heat diffusion and an integrated insulation layer. We also have modular wood systems that can accommodate irregular spaced joists and low build solutions where height is critical.
To ensure you get the maximum comfort and efficiency from your system we offer a range of easy to use but highly functional controls and thermostats. So you can choose the right solution, we offer wired, wireless and web enabled networked options.
Whether you are using radiators or surface heating and cooling, your system requires a reliable backbone. Wavin pipe systems give connection with confidence – whatever your heating and cooling choice.
Hep2O underfloor heating can provide a comprehensive design service, with all necessary materials, CAD installation drawings and instructions sent direct to site. Alternatively, we can supply underfloor heating components to installers who wish to undertake their own system designs. Wavin is a Full Member of The Underfloor Heating Manufacturer Association (UHMA).

WAVIN REWARDS TRADE WITH NEW APP
Global plumbing and drainage manufacturer, Wavin, has launched its new Wavin Rewards app as part of this year’s Gear Up campaign. The mobile app gives customers points every time they buy Wavin products, including those in the Hep2O and Osma ranges.
The points can then be redeemed against a range of vouchers and gift cards from brands including Amazon, Argos, Just Eat and Greggs. There is even an opportunity to put points towards holidays, with vouchers up for grabs from Jet2 Holidays and TUI.
To collect points, users either submit their invoices or scan their receipts through the app, earning one point per pound spent. There are also hundreds of introductory bonus points on offer for downloading the app and entering your first purchase.
Daniela Gould, Marketing Director at Wavin UK & Ireland, said: “We’re lucky to have an amazing trade customer base who, for many years, have continued to use our products on projects around the world. It’s important to us that our customers know we appreciate their support, and so by launching the Wavin Rewards app, we can give them something back with every purchase they make.”
To celebrate the launch, Wavin will be hosting a ‘Rewards Bar’ at the upcoming Installer Live and PHEX events. Visitors can learn more about the Gear Up campaign and how they can make the most of the app, taking part in some fun challenges that will give them even more points. By showing the app on their phones, installers will also be treated to a free bottle of the 2021 batch of Hop2O beer.

Hep2o Underfloor Heating Solution Finds a Home in Tower Hamlets
With sustainability and affordability a key consideration in the design of 105 new family homes in Tower Hamlets, a comprehensive Hep2O underfloor heating system from Wavin has been specified to provide cost-effective and energy efficient heat distribution throughout each home – helping the building to achieve the highest level Code for Sustainable Homes with a credit score of 6.
Designer Team Homes’ approach to the homes on Parmiter Street was to create 100% family housing using modern methods of construction on an inner city site. Along with a prefabricated concrete panel system, photovoltaics, and rooftop allotments, these innovative and low energy homes feature the Hep2O underfloor heating system which combines high comfort levels and low running costs with a fast, simple and non-intrusive installation.
“Due to the block and beam construction, the challenge for the customer was to provide a limited acoustic construction which gives a good heat output but was still affordable. They also had to achieve a good Sustainable Homes credit score,” commented Graham Hicks, Plumbing and Heating Manager, Wavin Group.
For the screeded floor construction, the specification of the Hep2O Pocketed Polystyrene panels meant that a less expensive acoustic layer could be used, because the finished system has a higher sprung mass. Although the screed costs more than the chipboard structure for the floating floor the overall cost was significantly less, plus the system’s performance was much better.
Plumbing contractor WJ Brown installed a 35mm thick Pocketed Polystyrene insulation layer alongside more than 520 linear metres of Wavin continuous pipe with a diameter of 16mm – finished with a 75mm thick screed.
Developed for new screeded floors, the pocketed polystyrene system grips the underfloor heating pipework in pre-cut channels within the floor insulation and so is protected from site traffic. The system cuts installation time because the layout of the pipework is already set and because it can reduce the depth of screed required and so cut down its drying time.
The Hep2O system is manufactured and Kitemarked to BS EN ISO 21003, and under a Quality Management System which satisfies BS EN ISO 9000 requirements. It is also covered by a 100 year guarantee against defects in material or manufacturing – offering the client total peace of mind.
Comprising panels, piping, manifolds and heating controls, the Hep2O system made the installation simple, fast and straightforward. As well as making little difference to the floor depth, they are also lightweight, easy to cut and handle, can withstand point loadings and can be installed by just one person if necessary.
With this affordable family housing development now complete, the residents are set to benefit from an energy efficient, high performance and cost-effective underfloor heating system for many years to come.
