The Essential Homes Research Project is a sustainability initiative designed to provide rapidly assembled modular housing for people displaced by natural and man-made disasters. The real-size prototype was designed by the Norman Foster Foundation and developed by Holcim using EQUITONE panels to cover the facades of the building.
