Econoflame R3400, R3600 & R6000 series offer an extensive range of high efficiency, fully modulating, ultra low Nox pre mix gas fired boilers. Floor Standing models.
Pressure Jet Gas / Oil Dual Fired Stokvis ECONOMATIC series offers a range of steel shell boilers which can be gas fired, oil fired or dual fuel fired – pressure jet burners. Outputs range from 90kW to 3.48MW; however should ‘a special’ be required, Stokvis can normally accommodate.
The Stokvis Econoplate packaged plate heat exchanger units are available in up to seven ranges covering 200+ units fulfilling a tremendous variety of applications- from domestic hot water generation for hospitals, hotels, blocks of flats and offices to swimming pool heating or even complex process heating. The Econoplate units (with the exception of the bare plates) come complete with primary pump(s), fast acting 3 or 4 port motorised control valve on the primary circuit and purpose built PID controller for sensing the secondary water temperature and controlling the motorised valve.
The H series Econoplates are designed to provide the interface between a central or district heating scheme and individual properties, requiring heating and or hot water. At the heart of each unit are the stainless steel brazed plate heat exchanger(s) which are packaged with the necessary equipment to control your heating and or instantaneous hot water requirements. The unit types are essentially H1 (Single Plate) or H2 (Twin Plate) with 3 models for each type.
The Econostor 11 is a highly efficient gas or oil fired hot water service generator – based on a tank in tank principle they offer fast recovery and high flow rates ( also the possibility of utilising the neutral fluid for a heating circuit).
Product/Services description Stokvis Energy Systems have been supplying packaged boiler houses for many years supplying you with a fully packaged boiler room complete with boilers, plate heat exchangers, etc., etc., as per your needs and requirements
ECONO-AIR 3000 series and 1000C series offer an extensive range of direct- fired gas heating and ventilating units. Floor mounted; wall mounted; external/internal and through the wall models available.
ECONOPRESS enclosed pressurisation units are used for maintaining pressure in sealed heating or chilled water systems; automatically pumping water into systems to maintain initial ‘ cold fill’ pressure.
The Stokvis Econoboost EB11 and EB111 are, twin and triple ,compact, cold water booster sets designed to meet today’s need for reliable, high performance equipment with modest capital outlay and low running costs.

Stokvis boiler package keeps pace with phased conversion project
The Econoplate from Stokvis Energy Systems
The specialist contractor undertaking a major conversion project within a former office property in Leicester has continued a strong working relationship with Stokvis Energy Systems for the supply of its boilers, plate heat exchangers and other equipment in creating high quality apartments.
Trail Systems Ltd, headed by Patryk Halczak, is reconfiguring the six-storey Highcross House, located close to Leicester city centre, converting the former insurance building into 140 two- and three-bedroom homes. While the structure has been strengthened to take an additional two floors that are still awaiting planning consent, a phased programme has seen the existing floors divided up using modern partitioning systems. With the basement plant room refurbished, the trio of R602 boilers and two C3A Econoplate plate heat exchangers have been ramped up as phases of flats have been handed over for occupation.
Patryk Halczak commented, “My task was to deliver reliable solutions for the conversion project, and I know that each contract we have carried out with Stokvis has been absolutely successful – there have been zero issues over a period of many years.
“In the case of Highcross House, the boilers and other systems were commissioned more than six months ago, and have coped without any problem, despite being disturbed each time another floor or zone has been ready for connection. The building is now some 80% occupied with residents moving in on the fourth floor before the end of the year. Meanwhile, the boilers, plate heat exchangers and other systems have all been sized ready to serve the two additional floors when permission is given for their construction. These are high specification apartments and they are proving very popular with tenants.”
The R600 EVOLUTION series offers specifiers excellent economy and performance with compact dimensions, making them the ideal ‘go anywhere’ solution for retrofit projects. At Highcross House, they wheeled into position on a plinth, before being connected up to an Econopress unit to provide sufficient pressure to circulate primary water throughout the building.
The pair of C3Ai330+OR Econoplates were chosen for their compatibility with the R600 series boilers, helping them stay in condensing mode for longer as 700 flow and 500 centigrade return temperatures are targeted. A Stokvis Econoboost unit was also installed to circulate hot and cold water to kitchens and bathrooms throughout the building.
Amongst the other conversion projects around the country where Stokvis Energy Systems has provided Trail Systems with fully compatible heating and hot water services was Unity House in Luton, as well as a development called Wesley House.

Stokvis EVOLUTION boilers connecting with boom in communal heating
The continuing housing shortage and the demographics of an ageing population are increasing the popularity of apartment living as well as sheltered housing schemes, and also fuelling rapid growth in the uptake of communal or district heating schemes. The new EVOLUTION boiler ranges from Stokvis Energy Systems are ideally suited to power such projects.
The R40 EVOLUTION and R600 EVOLUTION series represent the latest generation of Stokvis Energy Systems’ long-established and widely-specified boilers, which can be installed along with the manufacturer’s H Series Heat Interface Units (HIUs) to supply heating and domestic hot water to individual dwellings.
Using the R40 and R600 EVOLUTION boilers in centralised plant rooms provides a primary heat source for the HIU’s with an excellent efficiency while saving landlords the headache of gaining access for annual gas safety inspections and maintaining individual units in each flat where space is often limited. Instead, connecting heating circuits to Stokvis H Series HIUs ensures residents can enjoy DHW and space heating comfort around the clock.
The Econoflame R600 EVOLUTION, in fact, offers outputs from 142 to 540KW and incorporates a patented downward firing pre-mix burner and stainless steel heat exchanger. Low weight and compact dimensions enables them to pass through standard, single leaf doorways on wheels that are incorporated with the boilers. They can also be installed in a cascade arrangement to share load.
Equally versatile, the R40 EVOLUTION wall hung range encompasses six models delivering between 56 and 138KW. These can be combined either back-to-back or in line to provide a maximum capacity of 1,102KW as a Modupak solution.
It is vital that developers or building owners such as social housing providers understand the importance of accurate specification to meet the special requirements of communal heating systems: including calculating combined demand of multiple households, as well as sizing the boilers and the HIUs to suit.
As a highly experienced supplier working with a network of installers, Stokvis Energy Systems can offer specifiers extensive design support from conception through to commissioning. This can include combining the R40 or R600 boilers with solar thermal input or other renewables and thermal vessels at the central plantroom and then coupling the plant to a number of WRAS approved H Series heat interface units that can deliver heating and hot water to a number of dwellings in an efficient and manner.
