Stiltz Domestic Lifts manufacture, supply, install, service and maintain the Stiltz Home Lifts range and the Lifton Home lifts range.
Stiltz Domestic Lifts manufacture, supply, install, service and maintain the Stiltz Home Lifts. The Stiltz Lift is unique from any other domestic lift on the market because it can be installed virtually anywhere in the home. This is made possible because the home lift does not use hydraulics or need any structural support or fixings.
Lifton Home lifts by Stiltz: The Lifton Home Lift is a unique in-home mobility concept which combines style and functionality in a discreet and compact design.
All Stiltz domestic lifts are powered by an electric motor situated on the top of the lift that plugs straight into the wall just like any other household appliance. Using Stiltz’s dual rail technology, the home lift is a self-supporting structure so no load bearing walls are required.
The Stiltz Lift is ideal for home owners looking for an easy way to get between floors or a perfect stairlift alternative for the less mobile. Stiltz’s domestic lifts include the Stiltz Duo Lift and the wider and deeper wheelchair lift version of the same lift, the Stiltz Trio Lift in three styles.
The latest addition to the Stiltz Duo range, the Duo+ Home Lift, is an ideal alternative to a stairlift. Transporting two people up one floor in under 30 seconds, Duo offers unmatched freedom and flexibility.
Stiltz’s flagship model, the Duo Classic, can carry two people comfortably and take them up to the next floor in less than 30 seconds. Small but spacious the Duo Classic is a home lift to be proud of and includes lots of fantastic standard features.
The Duo Vista Lift is based on the Classic model but is a totally clear lift thanks to its exterior which is made of structural polycarbonate. This look gives the Duo Vista a more contemporary look and is ideal if placed in front of a window as it allows the natural light to flood into a room.
The Thru Car version of the Duo allows users to enter and exit the domestic lift from both sides. This is a unique feature of Stiltz’s home lifts and is made possible by Stiltz’s dual rail technology.
Stiltz range of Domestic Wheelchair Lifts:
Stiltz’s wheelchair lift version of the Duo is called the Trio Classic and is heavier and bigger so it can fit a standard-sized wheelchair. Designed to allow wheelchair users to live independently in the home, the wheelchair lift also suits users with walking frames. Unlike a stairlift, the Trio can carry up to three people.
The Trio Vista includes all the same features as its Duo Vista counterpart but is designed with solid walls and a clear polycarbonate back.
The first wheelchair lift on the wheelchair lifts market to offer a double entry or thru car configuration so users can enter or exit from both sides of the lift. Offering all the same features as its Duo Thru Car, the Trio offers wheelchair users even more access around the home.
It is now possible to continue to enjoy the home you love without compromising on its style and décor. The unobtrusive and elegant Lifton Home Lift will run smoothly and quietly between floors on slim rails allowing you to retain maximum living space. Installing a Lifton Home Lift will make it so much easier to get around your home again, easily and safely.

Ableworld Aims High with Stiltz Home Lifts
Ableworld Aims High with Stiltz Home Lifts as Retailer Becomes First Store to have Demo Unit Installed
The UK’s largest mobility retailer has revealed that its decision to partner with Stiltz Home Lifts is because their products are ‘unlike anything we have been able to offer customers before’.
The first of 34 Ableworld stores – based in Woolston, Southampton – last month officially became a Stiltz Home Lifts Premier Partner after staff completed a free training course at the company’s headquarters in the West Midlands.
The retailer in Portsmouth Road has achieved the highest level in the company’s three-tier partner programme. It means the store can now manage the whole customer journey; from the marketing and sales process through to building work, lift installation and servicing, using their own teams and resources. Ableworld’s other 33 stores have the option to become a Stiltz Home Lifts partner too, whether at Referral, Affiliate or Partner level depending on what suits their business needs.
Steven Newman, Director at Ableworld Southampton, said: “We’re really excited about our new partnership with Stiltz Home Lifts because we are now able to offer our customers a mobility product which is unlike anything we have been able to offer before.
“The home lift market has grown considerably over the last few years and Stiltz are the only through floor lift company we are partnered with at Ableworld. That is because we believe the Stiltz is the highest quality domestic lift available, the most accessible for the user and the most aesthetically pleasing. Home lifts are going to have a big impact on helping people remain in their own homes because stairlifts are not suitable for all users.
“We chose to become Stiltz Home Lifts Premier Partners because we’re keen to do everything in-house and for the customer to have a single point of contact through their ‘journey’ with us. We take care of everything for customers interested in purchasing a Stiltz, including the site survey, the quotation, the installation and the after-service too.”
Ableworld and Stiltz Home Lifts have both Which? Trusted Trader status – an endorsement scheme designed to help consumers find reliable traders and give them peace of mind. Mr. Newman explained: “We’re really pleased that, like us, Stiltz Home Lifts are Which? Trusted Trader partners as it gives the customer that extra reassurance that both the manufacturer and the retailer are backed by the UK’s largest independent consumer organisation.”
The Southampton retailer has become the first store anywhere to have a Stiltz Home Lift demonstration unit installed which enables customers to ‘test drive’ the lift for themselves. Mr. Newman said: “We’re thrilled to become the first ever store to have a fully-functioning Stiltz Home Lift installed in-store and we’ve already had lots of interest from local customers. It’s really important our customers get the opportunity to ‘try before they buy’ and match the product which best suits their needs. It also means OT’s can come in with their client and be reassured that they are recommending the best possible solution to help improve their lives.”
Yola Mealing, Head of Marketing at Stiltz Home Lifts, said: “We’re delighted to support Ableworld in Southampton with brand new point of sale, advertising and joint marketing programmes. Steve and the team are really passionate about our products and have some fantastic ideas. This is the first time we have installed a demonstration unit in a store and it acts as great pilot project for us. We look forward to growing relationships with the rest of the Ableworld retail network.”
Stiltz Home Lifts Launches Through The Floor Lift ‘Safety First’ Campaign
Stiltz Home Lifts has launched a new ‘safety first’ campaign aimed at highlighting the differences between the wide range of through-the-floor lifts on the market.
Gino Farruggio, UK Trade Sales Director of Stiltz Home Lifts, said the domestic lift specialist is keen to raise awareness among trade dealers, consumers, occupational therapists and healthcare professionals that conventional lifts tend to have an upper safety edge which only activates at the point a body part becomes trapped. This traditional type of through-the-floor lift also has open sides which further increases the risk of accidents, whereas with a Stiltz Homelift it can be used standing or perching, rather than having to be seated.
Mr. Farruggio explained that a Stiltz Home Lift immediately stops when the light curtain is breached as it is fully enclosed with no safety edges. This means it provides greater peace of mind to the user. The manufacturer also offers the option of a full height door which further eliminates the potential risk of the user becoming trapped.
Mr. Farruggio said: “We have seen the concept of home lifts massively increase in popularity over the last few years and, as a company, we felt it was time we rolled out a ‘safety first’ campaign which explains the different safety features between the products on the market.
“That way dealers – who may be selling more than one type of home lift – have all the key information they need to make an informed choice about the type of product they want to sell. This will also help their customers to make the right homelift choices too.
“We’re also able to announce to the trade and to OTs, that the Stiltz Trio+ Home Lift wheelchair model, is now BS5900 compliant, and includes a fire seal. While this is not a mandatory requirement, it enables the Trio+ to tick all the boxes required for a local authority Disabled Facilities Grant so those users who desperately need to adapt their homes but do not have the finances, are at last able to access a home lift.”
Through this campaign, Stiltz Home Lifts is also highlighting the different specifications available for each model of lift, such as the technical operating variations, the sizes of lift available, and the power supply options. For example, the range of Stiltz home lifts include the two-person compact Duo+ Home Lift and wheelchair-accessible Trio+ Home Lift.
Mr. Farruggio added: “There are no hydraulics required whereas many conventional lifts still may need a lift pit or shaft constructed and even a separate machine room. The Stiltz travels on unique and discreet self-supporting vertical rails or ‘stilts’ that are positioned on either of the lift.
“It is powered by a quiet motor housed in the roof of the lift car, and plugs straight into the wall using a standard domestic 13 amp power socket plus, there is no ‘noise vibration’, unlike other through-the-floor lifts which need to be bolted into a supporting wall at the back. Added to this, our Duo Home Lift takes up less than a square metre, compared to traditional lifts that typically take up a much larger space.
“All Stiltz lifts also include a telephone system as standard in the very unlikely event of the user experiences issues whilst using the lift. This enables them to immediately dial for help if needed, giving reassurance to relatives and loved ones that the user is safe at all times.”
