Albany Paints
Albany Paints provide a wide range of finishes and preparations for both Trade and DIY applications. The Albany Paint and Wallpaper range is exclusive to Brewers Decorator Centres who are on hand to give the very best in free advice when using Albany.
The Albany brand has recently celebrated it’s one hundredth year, being at the forefront of paint evolution providing high quality and great value. Albany has always stood for quality from the day that Clement Brewer chose the name, having seen the Albany Mansions in Piccadilly where the interior decoration was said to be of the highest standard. Today, Albany has a comprehensive choice of finishes with thousands of colours available and a full range of primers and undercoats, all manufactured to superior trade grade quality. Alongside paint, Albany offers the full package with a wide choice of wallpapers, brushes, rollers, and decorating accessories.
The Albany Paint Range:
AF1 is a water-based coating for interior ceilings that contains matting agents to help hide imperfections and brush or roller marks, giving ceilings a consistent, flawless appearance. The non-reflective properties of Albany AF1 Ceiling Paint also hides flashing by creating a super flat matt finish with no sheen whatsoever!
Albany Floor Paint is available in solvent-based and water-based finishes, providing a durable finish for concrete floors. The single pack floor coating is easy to use and offers superior performance.
Albany has also developed three woodcare finishes to protect interior and exterior timber. Albany Original is a translucent all-purpose wood stain that can be used on interior and exterior timber for long lasting protection in a matt finish. Albany Advanced is a translucent, durable wood stain that can be used on interior and exterior timber, offering superior UV protection in a satin finish. When used as a system, both finishes provide ultimate weather resistance and durability. Albany Masterdec is an opaque wood stain that can be used on exterior timber, providing a self-priming, fast-drying, and flexible finish. Available in a range of colours that will completely obliterate the original colour of the wood.

Albany Wood Primer is solvent based and used to seal the wood before priming, can be used on interior or exterior wood.
Albany Aluminium Wood Primer is perfect for resinous softwoods and most types of hardwood for exterior and interior use.

Family businesses from across the UK gathered this evening, to celebrate family companies and the contribution they make to the business community and the UK economy at the National Family Business of the Year Awards (‘FBOTY’).
We are thrilled to announce that Brewers Decorator Centres were awarded the Family Business of the Year award in the Homes & Gardens category!
It was an honour to be runners up in other categories too, including Community Support & Involvement, London & South East and The People’s Choice Award.

Feast Your Eyes On The Newly Decorated Dartford Larder Project!
Brewers were thrilled to get involved with this unique project, donating 85L of Albany Paints and sundries to transform the space that will have a powerful impact on the local community.
This new, social supermarket has created an alternative to foodbanks, providing an affordable shopping experience whilst reducing food waste.
Members of the Larder can purchase a selection of food and essentials for just £4.50.
Located in Copperfields Walk, Dartford, the Dartford Larder will also play host to a range of other services including budgeting and health & wellbeing advice.

We’ve created a space where people are seen, supported, and empowered.
It’s about dignity, not dependency.
Every person who walks through our doors matters.
Every conversation, every choice, every contribution helps build a stronger, more compassionate community.”

Created in partnership with Dartford Borough Council, Crossways Community Church, and Healthy Living Centre, the Dartford Larder has also received support from the council, the UK Government's Household Support Fund, Big Local, and Dartford’s business community.
Albany’s Embley and Wolf Grey were used throughout the space with Brilliant White in Vinyl Matt, creating a warm and welcoming scheme.
