Triflow Concepts – The Original Inventors of Filtered water at home!
Triflow Concepts was established in 1978 as a brassware manufacture, excelling in producing high quality engineering solutions. Triflow Concepts’ products are renowned for design excellence, unrivalled quality and exacting attention to detail. Triflow offer a distinctive range of UK manufactured Filtered Tap designs that will complement both the traditional and the contemporary kitchen.
Triflow was the world’s first tap to deliver hot and cold water, as well as filtered water, through a dedicated waterway in the same spout. This system ensures there is no cross-contamination.
Triflow systems also incorporate Swiss manufactured Katadyn filters which are exclusive to Triflow. Katadyn have been involved in water treatment since 1928 and their products are renowned for their consistency and reliability. Notable customers include the Red Cross and UNESCO.
Triflow Product Ranges:
Triflow use filter cartridges by award-winning Katadyn to provide fresh-tasting filtered water on tap. Katadyn’s filters are used all around the world because the compact filtration system significantly reduces impurities and bacteria down to 0.2 microns. The filters also remove up to 98% of lead content. The Original systems will provide you with the perfect match for your Kitchen, no matter what style and finish you desire. Discover modern spouts, timeless models and statement designs to make the focal point of your kitchen stand out. Our taps are available with 360° rotating spouts and a selection with hand spray rinses to make daily tasks more convenient.
The Triflow Electronic System offers all the convenience and functionality of the Triflow Original System but at the touch of a unique electronic button to activate the filtered water.
Indicated by the subtle Triflow logo, the touch-sensitive button connects directly to a sleek electronic filter housing system, which sits underneath the sink. This mains operated intelligent systems makes the button glow green when activated and red when the filter cartridge needs to be replaced. It also maintains safe levels of operating pressure when in use, which reduces to near zero when switched off. Additionally, when the filter cartridge has been changed, the filter housing will automatically flush the correct amount of water through making it ready for use.

Why Say No To Bottled Water
Triflow Concepts are encouraging everyone to join the Back to Tap campaign. It seems such an easy choice: tap water is cheaper and often cleaner. Yet, since bottled water was made to look trendy in the 1980’s, many people have become used to buying it. So many people, that we are now buying more than a million bottles a minute. There are numerous environmental concerns with bottled water: Single-use plastic bottles cannot be broken down and stay on earth and in our oceans for hundreds of years, where they get eaten by fish and end up on our plates. The production of bottled water consumes energy, pollutes the environment, and contributes to global warming.
Producing plastic bottles uses a lot of energy and emits toxic chemicals which cycle back to pollute our drinking water. Transporting bottled water thousands of kilometres across the earth releases dangerous amounts of carbon dioxide into the air, hindering our efforts to combat climate change. Besides the negative impact on the environment, the bottling of water also has social implications such as local inaccessibility to water. According to the WHO 2.1 billion people lack access to safe, readily available water at home. In commodifying water, bottling corporations limit access for locals to an essential resource that should always be public.
Although many local water authorities put in extreme effort and expense to produce water that is fit for human consumption, they can unfortunately not guarantee the condition of the pipes that deliver the water to the end user. In many locations these old pipes harbour contaminants which are released into our water. With a Triflow tap you can ensure your tap water is always of the highest standard. Going back to tap is a simple and effective way to consume clean water as well as as reduce our carbon footprint and return to a more ethical use of our earth’s precious resource.
So what are you waiting for? It is time to think of our future, it is time to go Back to Tap. Join us here..
