Transformations With In The Mix Project
The Brewers Foundation were delighted to support In The Mix Project (ITMP) who provide youth and community services across Somerset.
The donation included A Forest wallpaper by Mini Moderns, 10L of Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt, Toupret Anti Damp Treatment, Blackfriars Chalkboard Paint and some sundries to revitalise the Wiveliscombe Youth Centre.
ITMP are based in Wiveliscombe and operate both within a local catchment area covering; Wellington, Wiveliscombe, Taunton, and the smaller villages across Taunton Deane and West Somerset and across the wider geographical area of Somerset.
They provide professional youth work support and advice to young people, relating to issues prevalent to themselves, their communities and their environment.
Their aim is to help young adults learn and develop through informal educational activities which combine enjoyment, challenge and learning.
ITMP will work with young people and communities, to create opportunities, provide positive activity and encourage social action.
It is their vision to support young people achieve and develop in their young lives.
Nick Harvey, Charity Manager said “grants like this support us to maintain and manage our facilities so they are warm and welcoming spaces for our services.
This funding directly helped to improve our youth centre in Wiveliscombe, we have been able to clean and redecorate some of the spaces making them more inviting.”
