As we near the end of the year, we’re reflecting on some of our favourite moments and achievements, including securing ISO 14001:2015 certification, the brilliant achievements of our Apprentice team, upgrading our delivery fleet, and celebrating staff promotions and milestone anniversaries.

Air & Space Institute (ASI) Newark:
Dales supplied Aluminium Fascia Soffit, Rainwater Pipes, and Window Surrounds in RAL 7004 (Signal Grey) for the state-of-the-art Air & Space Institute (ASI) Newark, which opened in April 2024.
The £15.4m campus, designed to train aspiring pilots, engineers, and ground crew, earned the title of Building Project of the Year at Constructing Excellence Midlands 2024.
Matlock Fire Station:
Dales supplied Aluminium Rainwater Pipes, Guttering, Sigma Fascia Soffits, and Meridian Coping Systems in RAL 7024 Matt Graphite Grey for the new Matlock Fire Station, which opened in Autumn 2024.
The £4.3 million facility incorporates sustainable features like solar panels and LED lighting, with Dales’ aluminium products contributing to both its eco-friendly design and operational efficiency.

'The Pebble' gets curved fascia
Dales custom-designed and supplied curved aluminium fascia and raking soffits for Levenmouth Station, known as ‘The Pebble,’ part of the £117 million Levenmouth Rail Link project.
Due to the coastal location, the products were finished with Powertech’s Evolution™ ‘Peat Fire’ powder coating. The project focuses on sustainability, including material reuse and electrification plans to meet Scotland’s net-zero goals by 2045.
Achieving ISO 14001:2015!
January 2024 marked a significant achievement for Dales as we received ISO 14001:2015 certification following a rigorous two-stage audit.
Since then, we have not only maintained our standards but elevated our approach by continuously integrating new, innovative solutions across our operations, culminating in our certification being successfully renewed this Autumn, recognising our environmental management system as a ‘Mature Management System’.
