Cavity Trays Ltd has increased its range of windposts, and now offers styles in sizes to suit most construction requirements.
Manufactured from solid DPC, the windposts are supplied in one or two connecting pieces, and are shaped to ensure penetrating and gravitating water within the cavity wall is prevented from tracking and soaking into areas that must be kept dry. Windpost design includes self-supporting models that build into one skin only so structural continuity is uninterrupted. Windpost trays include harmonising cloaks that can overlay adjacent cavity trays. Yeovil-based Cavity Trays Ltd is this year celebrating 100 years of specialism and is the longest-established and the only UK tray manufacturer awarded European Technical Approval.
