KEIM SOLDALIT®-ME ONTO RENDER

August 2022

20 HEYDON ROAD, GREAT CHISHILL, ROYSTON

Number 20 Heydon Road is a detached domestic residence located in the villageof Great Chishill in Hertfordshire.

The house is of a traditional brick with a slate tiled roof construction which has undergone an extension to the rear of the
property using 1960’s sand and cement render. The side elevation of the building has been re-rendered by Neil Andrew’s, using lime to keep a consistent appearance and match the existing property.

KEIM Mineral Paints were already known to the render company for their
sustainable and eco-friendly benefits. KEIM Soldalit-ME was applied to the rendered exterior walls for its breathability properties.

The render was then painted, by Edwards & Jarman, using a shade that matched the natural stone colour to the front elevation to work in harmony with the brick work.

The homeowners commented, ‘the paint is a delight to work with. The finish is fantastic and given the added benefit of the longevity, I can’t rate this product highly enough.’

KEIM Soldalit-ME is a variant of KEIM Soldalit but with the added benefit that it helps to degrade nitrogen oxide pollutants from the atmosphere. It is ideal for exterior projects to offer a durable waterproof protection, that is colourfast and UV stable. It can be applied to previously painted substrates and is resistant to mould and fungal growth.
