A liquid substance that is applied to a surface in a manner that creates a thin, flexible layer. This substance is composed of an epoxy resin and is used as a damp-proof membrane in construction projects where there is a tolerance for dampness. It is meant to prevent water and dampness from penetrating into the surface and causing damage to the building.
