New Wiring Standard BS 7671:

The IET Wiring regulations BS 7671 are the national standard to which all industrial and domestic wiring must conform. The newly amended BS 7671 includes a large number of changes from the original 2008 document and highlights necessary information to maintain technical alignment with the CEN/Cenelec harmonization documents. The changes/additions include: NEW - Measures against electromagnetic disturbances NEW - Devices for protection against overvoltage (surge protection) NEW - Medical locations NEW - Operating or maintenance gangways.
