Frontier Doors: Epwin launches range of composite door leaves
Introducing Frontier Doors
October 2017 will see the launch of Frontier Doors, Epwin Window Systems’ new range of composite door leaves. Gerald Allen, Epwin Window Systems’ Marketing Manager, comments: “The composite door market is growing and Frontier will help our customers make the most of the opportunities available.”
As you would expect from an Epwin product, the Frontier composite door range delivers excellence at every level.
The three ranges, classical, contemporary and cottage, and 25 different designs mean there is a style to suit every house style while a wide range of glazing options help consumers to personalise their choice even further.
New COOLSKIN technology
A Frontier door has a beautiful and unique thermoplastic woodgrain finish to replicate timber and give a more realistic effect. The Frontier Doors range is available in a capsule collection of 10 popular colours, all with superior scratch and abrasion resistance, helping to keeping doors in great condition for years to come. COOLSKIN technology minimises the amount of solar heat absorption in order to reduce the surface temperature fluctuation throughout the day. In addition to their excellent weather stability the facings are also highly durable with high impact performance during extremes of temperature.
Frontier doors are available in slabbed or pre-prepped options so Epwin Window Systems’ customers can choose which works best for their business. They are suitable for standard or low-threshold doors, making them suitable for all project types. Prepped Frontier doors are supplied fully edge banded for a sleek finish. Suitable locks and door furniture can be supplied through our Safeware hardware division too.
Available in 44mm and 48mm options, Frontier solid timber core composite door leaves are manufactured in the UK and are designed to fit perfectly into Epwin Windows’ profile systems to enable its customers to offer a complete composite door solution. Frontier leaves are compatible with Profile 22 (universal composite door outer frame) CD70, Profile 22 Optima chamfered and sculptured systems plus Spectus Elite 70 bevelled and ovolo systems.
The range also comes with all the support that is needed including full technical details and marketing collateral to enable Epwin Window Systems’ customers to capitalise on homeowners’ interest in composite doors.
Gerald concludes: “Our aim is to be a one stop shop for our customers and the new Frontier range of composite doors reflects this aim in action.”
Epwin Window Systems shortlisted for three G Awards
The finalists for the 2017 G Awards have been announced and Epwin Window Systems has been shortlisted in three categories. The launch of Epwin’s Excellence as Standard membership programme has been shortlisted for Promotional Campaign of the Year – Trade, Profile 22’s Optima Flush Casement Window has been shortlisted for New Product of the Year and Epwin’s fabrication team has been shortlisted for Training & Development Initiative of the Year for helping 253 employees successfully achieve NVQ Level II qualifications.
Sharn Samra, Epwin Window Systems’ Marketing Director, said: “We are delighted to be recognised in so many G Awards categories because it highlights the quality of our teams and the work we do at Epwin. We’d also like to congratulate our fellow nominees on their achievements.”
Excellence as Standard is aimed at fabricators and installers of windows and doors produced under Epwin Window Systems’ three brands Spectus, Profile 22 and Swish and is one of the most comprehensive industry support programmes ever devised. In its innovation and scope, the launch campaign reflected the scale of the programme’s ambition and showcased what makes it different. The strength of the programme and the quality of the campaign have combined to deliver impressive sign up figures.
Profile 22’s Flush Casement Window is leading the way in changing planning departments’ minds about PVC-U alternatives to timber by offering a compelling combination of sensitive design, thermal efficiency, high security, low maintenance and environmental responsibility. It’s a window that looks like its timber equivalent but performs as a 21st century window should.
The Epwin fabrication team has helped 253 members of its team across four of its key businesses successfully achieve NVQ Level II qualifications through its comprehensive training scheme, with many progressing or beginning courses for Level III qualifications.
The winners of the 2017 G Awards will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on 17 November where Epwin Window Systems will be a main event sponsor for the fourth consecutive year.
