Marmox (UK) Ltd is a family owned, British company, based in Rochester, Kent, specialising in the supply of insulation panels and epoxy composite items for the construction and refurbishment industries. Marmox Boards
Made of extruded polystyrene with fibreglass mesh embedded in a cement polymer mortar on both sides. The boards are tough, lightweight, waterproof, have high thermal properties and approximately 25 decibels of sound insulation. They can easily be cut to size or shape with a saw/knife and will fix to any surface including brick, wood or metal. Available in various thicknesses!
Marmox Showerlay & Showerlay Linear
A floor level barrier-free shower panel pre-laid to falls and ready to receive a surface finish of tiles. Designed to make D.I.Y wet rooms more achievable, the Showerlay can be lowered to floor level or butted up to Marmox board of the same thickness on the floor. Available in various sizes including centre and off centre drain positions.
Marmox Curved Board
These Marmox boards come flat packed and have lines cut into them to allow them to bend. Simply bend to the boards to the required curve and then tile or plaster.
Marmox Pipe Boxing
Marmox pipe-boxing comes in flat sheets that bend to a 90o angle and seals with a self adhesive tape. Use as an easy solution for boxing in pipework.
Marmox Dallmer Shower Drain
This tile drain is available to be used with the Marmox Showerlay trays.
Marmox Bath Panels
Marmox Bath Panels are easy to fit surround panels for baths. Easily cut the panels to the correct length and adjust the height using the feet supplied. The Panels are completely waterproof and ready to be tiled once fitted.
Marmox Acrylic Sealant
This is a waterproof sealant, ideal for use with Marmox products. Use to stick boards together for construction of vanity units, bath steps and to create a waterproof seal around Marmox Showerlays and Marmox Showerstones.
Marmox Self Adhesive Waterproof Tape
Use this product to create a permanent waterproof seal around all shower formers where it meets the adjoining floor, the wall and the internal corners.
Marmox Reinforcing Tape
Self adhesive, fibreglass mesh skrim tape. This tape helps prevent any movement and should be used to cover all the joints where Marmox boards meet.
Marmox Internal and External Corner tape
Use this pre-formed waterproof corner to join with Marmox Joint Sealing tape for an easy solution to waterproofing.
Marmox Washers
With the appropriate stainless steal screws, our slim line plastic washers grip tightly into the surface as they become almost flush with the board. Packs of plastic washers are sold in bags of 100. Washers are also available in steel.
Marmox Fixing Dowels
A fast method for fixing Marmox boards which replaces the need for screws and washers and cuts down on installation time. Use for 10mm, 12.5mm, 20mm and 30mm Marmox boards only.

A return to the stone age

Marmox has expanded its range of bathroom products with the official launch of an innovative shower base called Showerstone®.
Showerstone’s unique solid base can be laid directly onto floor joists and is readily available to receive tiles as well as vinyl, making it easier to install than anything else currently on the market.
“We’ve made Showerstone® an official part of our product range due to the high demand amongst installers, demand that has been driven by the time and money saving benefits apparent upon installation”, commented a Marmox spokesperson, “The much coveted product is now available for general stocking throughout the UK”.
The base is made from an acrylic polymer modified concrete and is so strong it will allow vinyl and mosaic tiles to be laid on it without risk of compression through point loading. It is also completely waterproof and no further treatment is required once fitted.
“Showerstone® has developed a good reputation amongst installers and we have seen huge demand since we commenced stocking it. Marmox continue to introduce innovative products with attributes no other manufacturer has been able to achieve”, commented a spokesperson from Wetroom Innovations.
