Maccaferri Double Twist Wire Mesh (DT Mesh) is engineered from our double twisted hexagonal woven steel wire and is used as a drapery system to prevent rocks and debris from falling onto infrastructure and relevant structures: DT Mesh is made from high quality steel wire, which is heavily galvanised. An additional protective polymeric coating is also applied for meshes that are to be used in aggressive environments, or where a longer design life is required. MACCAFERRI LTD: MacRes® System Coping Beam
The Maccaferri MacRes® system is a mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) retaining wall system, comprised of precast concrete facing panels and discrete high tenacity coated polyester strips. The performance of the MacRes® system depends primarily on the interaction between the polymeric geostrips and the surrounding reinforced backfill as the tensile forces in the soil are transferred to the reinforcements by means of friction. MacRes® is a flexible vertical faced system, easy to construct and capable to withstand high seismic load. MacRes® has been used on projects worldwide for various applications such as bridges, railways, highways, airports, quarries and other industrial areas.Maccaferri precast concrete copings are placed along the top of the structure, allowing a straight and uniform appearance to the MacRes® wall. MACCAFERRI LTD: Paralink Geogrids
ParaLink geogrids are planar structure consisting of a monoaxial array of composite geosynthetics strips. Each single longitudinal strip has a core of high tenacity polyester yarns tendons encased in a polyethylene sheath; the single strips are connected by cross-laid polyethylene strips to form a grid configuration to the composite. ParaLink is widely used in civil engineering for soil reinforcement applications including reinforced soils walls and basal reinforcements. ParaLink provides the high performance and reassurance also in the most demanding applications such as embankment over piles or soils subjected to voids.
