Fixsafe is a replacement rooflight system which allows the removal of an existing rooflight and the installation of a new rooflight in a fragile roof completely from inside the building. With Fixsafe there is no need to access the fragile roof at all. The HSE has been very supportive of this system which was actually developed following a request from them to find a solution to the issue of falling through old asbestos roofs whilst changing broken rooflights. Fixsafe is the result and removes a host of risks associated with fragile roofs and is helping to save the lives of fragile roof workers.
