The Advantages of Specifying Celuform PVCU & PV-UE Products
PVC is a low maintenance, weather resistant and durable building material. It is not damaged by damp, rot, attack from vermin, or insects. It is not affected by corrosion or pollution. Unlike timber, it has neither toxic preservatives, treatments and coatings, nor is further repair necessary. All that is required to retain its attractive appearance is water and soap, or for stubborn stains, a proprietary PVC cleaning fluid.
Ease of use:
The cellular structure of PVC-UE means it can be installed using conventional timber tools and techniques. Power tools can also be used. Celuform supply a comprehensive range of accessories including colour matched trims, joints and fixings which create a homogeneous appearance.
There is a 20-year product guarantee against defects, fading and changes in all white products. Celuform also offers a 10 year guarantee on their Premium Whitegrain, Creamgrain and Irish Oak colours and 10 years on all woodgrain finishes including Ebony, Mahogany, Piedmont and Golden Oak. Celuform offers a complete system which allows all Building Regulations and good construction practice requirements to be met from one Quality Assured Supplier.
Exceeding the minimum requirements in BS 7619:1993, Celuform PVC-UE does not suffer from batch variation, nor will it weather unevenly like many alternative building materials. It will not degrade like timber, or stain like cement based products. CELUFORM PVC-UE does not contain CFCs, lead, barium or cadmium and only uses environmentally sound base stabilisers.
Peace of Mind:
All products are manufactured within an ISO9001 quality management system and within an environmental management system which satisfies the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001:2004
Celuform is independently certified to BES 6001. We have met stringent manufacturing criteria to achieve this ‘green’ standard which means our customers can be assured that as a company we understand our responsibilities and source raw materials in an ethical and sustainable manner.
The majority of Celuform’s roofline and cladding products carry BBA CERTIFICATION
Celuform launches new product overview
Celuform, the UK’s first manufacturer of PVC-UE roofline products, has launched a new product overview for specifiers.
Following a major overhaul of the brand, the 28-page product overview illustrates the complete range of fascias, cladding, soffits and window line trims, with added technical and product details.
Known for exceptional high standards and longevity, Celuform was launched almost 47 years ago, to offer weather-resistant, low-maintenance alternatives to timber for the specification market.
Celuform’s national specification manager Keith Hart explained: “Celuform is regarded as a pedigree for the specification market both in the UK and in Europe.
“The range continues to grow with the latest product overview containing our updated collection of anthracite grey and foiled cladding, along with improved technical details
“Celuform is designed to meet the needs of local authorities, housing associations, architects and larger housebuilders, offering quality and longevity as well as breadth of range.”
Primarily focused on roofline, cladding and internal trims, Celuform also provides a comprehensive range of boards as well as corners, joints, trims and fixings, offering a complete system from one source. Celuform products can be installed using traditional woodworking tools and techniques.
Keith Hart added: “Aside from the products themselves we can also offer a number of other services including technical advice, scheduling and quotation services.
“Celuform has a national network of stockists delivering direct to site and our products are available to download on BIM and Fastrack CAD.”

Plastic Replaces Timber At Primary School
Dilapidated timber at St Mary's Church of England Primary School in Dover, Kent has been replaced with Celuform 150mm white shiplap PVC-ue cladding. The cladding creates a low maintenance deep fascia around the perimeter of the school buildings.
St Mary's has undergone extensive refurbishment including work to the roof, wall panels, windows and electrical systems.
Summers PVC of Maidstone, who installed the shiplap, chose Celuform. James Summers, the company's operations director said, "The most important factor of this job is the quality of the cladding system.
Celuform products are excellent, which is why we have stocked and installed them for more than 20 years".
