TROX specialise in providing Heating & Cooling Systems to the construction industry. Below are a selection of our products along with a brief description of each. Our design team speacialises in incorporating these products into a tailr made system to match your exact requirements.
With the TROX X-CUBE, an air handling unit with unlimited configuration options, TROX sets a new standard in the AHU market and defines considerably higher levels of quality, performance, flexibility, reliability, energy efficiency, and hygiene. Compelling all down the line. TROX now offers everything from a single source: air handling units and components – ideally complementary to each other.
Together with renowned designers and architects we have developed ceiling, wall, staircase and floor diffusers and grilles that are not only aesthetic design elements but also meet demanding ventilation and acoustic requirements.
We offer a wide range of Active Chilled Beam Systems and Accessories along with a comprehensive range of Wall/Undersill diffusers, Underfloor Induction diffusers, Convectors and associated products. All designed to meet current ventilation and noise regulations with added design flair.
he latest fancoil unit from TROX is a horizontal chassis type waterside fancoil suitable for concealed or exposed installations. Special characteristics of the Type PWX include:
- Removable access hatch with integrated hinge to facilitate inspection and maintenance
- Independent fan mounting which enables individual removal or replacement
- Fire resistant "Class O" acoustic insulation which provides low operating noise levels and improved thermal insulation
- A range of configurable options to meet your technical requirements and applications.
To comply with a specified noise level, sound attenuators are added to suitable locations in the ventilation system. The sound attenuators should have adequate silencing capabilities, low air resistance and be as small as possible. With the introduction of VDI 6022, specific hygiene requirements for room air conditioning systems were required for the first time. Splitters and splitter attenuators from TROX are certified for use in room air conditioning systems in accordance with VDI 6022 Parts 1 and 3, DIN 1946 Parts 2 and 4 and VDI 3802.
The correct preventative measures and components can help to eliminate this risk and restrict the damage caused by fire. Fire safety components and systems help to minimise the risk of fire and prevent fire and smoke from spreading. TROX offer a range of CE Marked Fire Dampers and Fire Detectors to comply with all relevant regulations.
Ventilation and air conditioning systems are called upon to adjust indoor air quality and the conditions for heating comfort and humidity in a room so as to comply with established stipulations (DIN EN 13779). TROX is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of these units. Our international success is based on 35 years of development and production experience of volume flow terminal units and related components.
EASYLAB and LABCONTROL are components for tailor-made solutions aimed at the safe and energy-efficient air management in critical areas such as laboratories, clean rooms, and hospitals. Because of their quick-response control loops they can be used for fume cupboards and for room pressure control. Complex room balancing functions and room monitoring functions are likewise possible.
A wide range of components & measuring devices designed to provide the purest filtration possible. From wall & Duct installations to particulate air filter terminals. Trox has developed the complete solution.
TROX has a wide selection of Dampers, Louvres and Doors to complement the design of any system. From mechanically operated systems to external louvres and doors, Trox has it covered.
Tailor-made and innovative, whether you need to ventilate or extract smoke from an underground car park or heat large buildings and industrial premises, TROX can provide the solution.
TROX offer a range of wall, ceiling and floor systems with controls to ensure your system is ideally suited for your specific requirements.

TROX Academy & CPD Programmes
TROX Academy & CPD Programmes
AIR MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGIES – THEIR IMPACT ON ENERGY EFFICIENCY
With a manufacturer and project design perspective the TROX Academy is dedicated to supporting construction industry professionals - whether this is helping your graduate engineers access information about a range of products or more experienced construction industry professionals looking to discuss project specific topics.
We have held and continue to offer training sessions which support the title “Air Management Systems and Technologies - Their Impact on Energy Efficiency”. These currently include:
AHU integrated digital controls: plug and play, digital versus analogue, and a brief overview of fan control strategies
Controlling energy costs by controlling air volume
Indoor air quality; its effects on productivity
“Air for the people, water for the loads": A guide to energy efficient chilled beam technology with guidance in optimised design and controls philosophy
Each subject or concept considers basic design issues, selections and application guidance using presentation and discussion sessions.
We have found that the practical demonstrations within our laboratory complex and the tour of our manufacturing facilities at our Thetford site are both enormously popular in visualizing technical theories.
CIBSE ACCREDITED CPD PROGRAMMES
On-going professional development is a key requirement within the industry. To support this, as a part of our TROX Academy programme, TROX UK have developed a number of CIBSE accredited CPDs that can be used not only to meet your on-going CIBSE CPD requirements but to also support you within your day to day role. These courses are designed for consultants, contractors, building service engineers, technical designers and all graduates of building services or architecture. TROX CPD courses currently accredited by CIBSE include:
“Air for the people, water for the loads”. A guide to energy efficient chilled beam technology
“Eco-design requirements for non-residential ventilation units”
“Air flow control - Variable Air Volume (VAV)”

TROX - Take a Breath - TROX Demonstrates “Indoor Life Quality” at the ISH
TROX at the ISH
On 11th March 2019, the ISH will begin in Frankfurt am Main and TROX will, of course, be one of the exhibitors in Hall 8, Stand F69. The company from Neukirchen-Vluyn will not only be presenting exciting innovations on the ever-present and hot topic of digitisation, but will also be exhibiting some brand new and innovative products and systems from the areas of air conditioning, ventilation, control technology and fire protection and demonstrating them to interested visitors.
The TROX trade fair motto this year is “Take a breath”. Fully in keeping with the TROX mission, fresh air leads to a better quality of life indoors. What we perceive, however, and what we need as human beings can only be described in analogue terms. It is not a digital value on some smartwatch that decides about our well-being, but how we are actually feeling at that very time.
And air is a crucial factor in wellbeing – after all, 90 per cent of our time is spent indoors. Even so, we cannot hide from the world of digitisation. But how do we reconcile analogue with digital?
TROX makes use of digital technology to support people, to increase their analogously perceived well-being, to make their daily work in this complex world easier, and to protect the environment with energy-efficient systems.
Discover what connects the digital and analogue world at the TROX exhibition stand F69 in Hall 8 – and take a breath!
