Profoil® insulation Panels are of a unique design and provide many advantages over other insulation products when used with warm water underfloor heating systems. Effectively four products in one, Profoil® Insulation Panels comprise a rigid thermal insulation material with grooves of a specified diameter and pattern positioned in the upper surface. The upper surface has an aluminium foil bonded to it, following into the grooves, which acts as a radiant surface improving heat transfer and reducing system start up times. The grooves in the insulation securely retain the continuous pipework in the correct position, eliminating the need for supplementary fixings.

ProGroove® Pre-Grooved Insulation Panels: www.profoil.net
Pre-grooved Insulation Panels comprise a rigid thermal insulation material with grooves of a specified diameter and pattern positioned in the upper surface. Aluminium heat diffusion plates are located in the preformed grooves and then the continuous pipework is pressed into place within the diffusion plates. No supplementary fixings are required as the process of pressing the pipework into the diffusion plates is sufficient to retain it securely in the correct position.

The most cost-effective way to install wet underfloor heating in a new build residential property is at the design stage. Underfloor heating in new build developments has become an increasingly desirable feature for home buyers. Not only can a Profix® or Profix® PLUS warm-water underfloor heating system provide a more energy efficient space heating solution in terms of running costs, but when combined with a heat pump it can become an integral part of a low temperature / low carbon heating and domestic hot water solution complying with the requirements of the Future Homes Standard and The Future Buildings Standard.
Both Profix® and Profix® PLUS Panels are ideal products for use as part of a ‘future-proofed’ low-profile warm-water underfloor heating system in new build constructions, providing high heat outputs even at low water temperatures, resulting in more efficient space heating with reduced running costs for homeowners.
Installing warm-water underfloor heating in a new build is simpler than in a renovation project. With a new build there are more options when it comes to installing underfloor heating as you are selecting a system to work specifically with the designed floor structure and levels, as opposed to retrofitting onto either a concrete or suspended timber floor already in place in an existing home.
Both the Profix® and Profix® PLUS Panels can be used as part of a new build warm-water underfloor heating solution installed on either solid floors, suspended timber floors, or as part of an acoustic floor solution.

The Profix® Panel is a pipe retention panel for warm-water underfloor heating and wall heating systems. Designed to incorporate 10mm to 12mm diameter pipes, the panel measures just 15mm, making it the ultimate solution for low profile underfloor heating.
The Profix® underfloor heating panel is suitable for both new build and retrofit projects. As with all Profix® products, the panel includes high quality components that provide reliability and ease of installation. Made from 100% recycled plastic, the panel is self-adhesive backed, providing a fast-fix floor heating solution.
Each Profix® Panel measures 600mm x 600mm x 15mm and features in its design multiple pipe retention clips to hold the pipe securely in place. In addition, each panel features purpose made locking features to fasten the panels together.
