Main Product Ranges
Klober offers a range of high-quality, high performing roofing underlays, wall membranes and vapour control layers/barriers. When used in conjunction with our adhesive tapes these will form airtight areas within the roof, substantially reducing heat loss.
A range of sealing products is available: Permo® TR universal tape for sealing laps and repairing tears, Tacto® double-sided sealing tape, Easy-form® stretchable tape and Pasto® sealant for sealing holes in underlays where nails have penetrated.
Klober provide a wide range of ventilation options to enable architects, specifiers and contractors to select the most appropriate solution for providing ventilation for a particular design. Our strength lies in our ability to supply the market with high-quality universal vents, simplifying specifying, stocking and installation.
Our through the wall ventilation solutions provide general background or ventilation for heat producing appliances such as a gas fire or central heating. Designed for both new build and renovation projects the range is complemented with lightweight easy to install ducting elements suitable for a standard footprint building design.
The gradual switch to Dry-Fix roofing in Britain and Ireland looks set to gather greater momentum. Considering all the advantages, it is not difficult to see why. Klober have a range of Dry-Fix roofing products and accessories that are the safe, clean, modern, mortar-free and secure way to mechanically fix the perimeter.
The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations place a duty of care on designers to select building components that minimise health and safety risks, not only during construction, but also during future maintenance. The use of Dry-Fix roofing eliminates the need to repair failed mortar bedding, therefore avoiding future maintenance work and improving safety on site.
While Klober’s robust roofing underlays can help prevent falls through the roof during construction, its range of Trapac® safety products are designed to make access around the roof safer after construction is complete.
Haus Profi is a comprehensive range of lead-free roof flashings and accessories for an extensive range of applications. The products are designed for sealing abutments and pitch transitions on walls, dormers, chimneys, flat roof upstands and hanging slates/cills.
Klober‘s SOLAR-LINE offers a complete solution for the watertight installation of the roof-integrated solar systems. The focus of SOLAR-LINE is on the safe installation of solar systems as well as on the routing of solar cables through the functional layers of the roof covering.
Klober have a comprehensive range of high quality flat roof vents and outlets for cold and warm roofs, and are suitable for bituminous, PVC and single-ply roof systems and are quick and easy to install.

Training team boost for Klober
Klober has strengthened its training offer by bringing two of its Area Account Managers – Nick King and David Rolph – into the team. Both Nick and David have extensive practical knowledge of roofing and will run the company’s training days at its Castle Donington site.
Aimed at merchants and contractors, the training days cover roof ventilation theory while also allowing plenty of time for valuable practical experience in fitting products on the company’s training rigs. Up-to-date changes in standards and regulations are also covered. The company can also offer flexible dates and deliver on-site and in-house training sessions by arrangement.
The typical content of a standard training day giving an overview of roofing ventilation requirements includes: condensation problems and ventilation solutions; dry-fix roofing; battens and interlocking tiles on gable roofs; universal roof vents; eaves ventilation; Permo® air and Sepa® light underlays and practical fixing. The courses are free-of-charge and include a buffet lunch and refreshments.

Klober Permo® air gets public sector performance recognition
Klober has received a significant boost for its market-leading low resistance air-open underlay Permo® air with certification by Local Authority Building Control (LABC) for its Registered Details scheme.
LABC, which represents all building control teams in England and Wales, ensures that buildings are safe, healthy, inclusive and efficient, and meet the standards set by the Building Regulations. Its Registered Details scheme is a one-off certification process that proves compliance with Building Regulations and Standards across England, Wales and Scotland
In the past, variable performance of vapour permeable underlays led to the NHBC and BSI deciding that only air-open membranes could be used without supporting high level ventilation. Designed to meet this requirement and prevent condensation forming in the roofspace, Klober Permo® air offers an exceptional level of breathability. It has a water vapour transmission sd-Value of 0.009m and a water vapour resistance confirmed to be as low as 0.045 MNs/g. As a result, it has been specified for roofing upgrades of many high profile and historic buildings.
For new builds, particularly those with complex roof designs, underlay performance is put under greatest strain during the critical drying out period. Permo® air’s use on both cold and warm roof installations avoids the additional cost of supporting ventilation and offers the additional benefit of having been tested for wind uplift resistance by the BRE. It found the membrane to be suitable for use up to Zone 5 on the BS 5534:2014 + A2:2018 wind zone map (with laps taped or battened in zones 4 and 5).
BBA and IAB approved, Permo® air not only avoids the additional cost of supporting ventilation, but also interruptions in the roofline caused by traditional tile or slate vents. Being manufactured from polypropylene, it is also fully recyclable.
Commenting on the certification Graham Copson, Product Systems Manager – Components, said: “Certification from LABC for its Registered Details scheme is great news for Klober. Registering Permo® air with LABC increases industry confidence in this already popular product and it helps ensure acceptance by all local authorities across the country.”
