Hinged support rails that are not permanently installed and removable hanging seats offer maximum flexibility. They can be installed quickly and easily where they are needed at any particular time.
Mobile hinged support rails - flexible support
A hinged support rail provides additional safety and support for persons with limited strength and mobility. Due to their dimensions and large radii, HEWI hinged support rails can be optimally gripped. The portfolio will soon be extended to include hinged support rails, which can be used individually and flexibly.
If needed, the portable hinged support rail is simply latched into the permanently installed wall plate. If the hinged support rail is not needed the wall plate can be concealed with a cover matching the surface of the hinged support rail. The mobile hinged support rail will be available in stainless steel, polyamide, chrome and WARM TOUCH (available from 06.2013).
Mobile shower seat “ safety, comfort and convenience
The removable hanging seat can be easily integrated in the shower if needed. It has an innovative fastening system, which fixes the seat safely. The seat can be folded up to save space. The seat surface and backrest are made of glass-fibre reinforced polyamide and are optionally available in white or anthracite grey. The convenient and comfortable seat can carry a load up to 150 kg. It is available in two different sizes.
