We were proud to host a well-attended Sustainability Forum at Kriekels House yesterday, an event managed and organised by the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, to bring together businesses, educators, and sustainability advocates from across the two counties.
The forum created a valuable space for networking and the sharing of best practices aimed at reducing the environmental impact of business operations. Key discussions focused on improving energy efficiency and resource management, with members exchanging ideas on practical steps organisations can take to make their operations more sustainable.
The agenda featured a series of thought-provoking presentations, including one from a member of our own team who gave an insight into Jaga and our sustainability messaging, the importance of reducing carbon emissions, and what we’re doing to contribute to the goal of Net Zero by 2050.
We also heard from the Herefordshire, Ludlow and North Shropshire College, who delivered a compelling presentation on empowering employers with work-ready talent through apprenticeships and T Level placements. Their session highlighted the importance of collaboration between education and industry in developing the skilled, sustainability-minded workforce of the future.
Events like this resonate strongly with our core values and reinforces the importance of working together as we move towards a more sustainable future.
