Quantick Carborundum Stair Nosing and Entrance Matting For Local Office
Project Overview
Quantick were approached by a local joinery company who was tasked with renovating a stair case and entrance area in the offices of a local Bristol based company. With The stair case in question being location close to the front entrance of the offices, there were complaints of water being tracked in through the doorway and up the stairs. The Water being tracked in was causing damage and staining to the edge of the stairs, as well as significantly increasing the risk of slips and falls on the stairs.
The Solution
Quantick Modified our QA3 Profile, by removing the riser in order to create a flat stair insert profile, which Hillside Joinery then rebated into the edge of the Stair Treads fitted. This solution provided a resolution to the damage occurring to the steps edge and the risk of slips and falls occurring should any water be tracked up the stairs.
Quantick also supplied Frontrunner Plus Entrance matting which was rebated into the existing matwell to help stop moisture at the door and reduce the water from being trafficked into the premises and up the stairs.
