Cedral has always been at the forefront in offering homeowners inspiration and flexibility to personalise their home facades. In building the Cedral Collections, we put the customer at the centre. We wanted to help installers and homeowners make more informed decisions in choosing the right look and colour.
Developing the Collections involved our largest research project ever, looking at colour and lifestyle trends and identifying tones that are popular with specific groups of homeowners. We spoke to homeowners and installer businesses across eight European cities and seven countries with focus groups and curation workshops.
Cedral worked with award-winning colour consultants, IVISUAL, who brought in colour science as well as an understanding of trends in lifestyle to the collection’s development.
The end result was the Cedral Collections, carefully curated across four distinct ways of living:
• The Design Collection – A modern statement. Embrace the power of simplicity, curated to highlight the lines of your home and make bold design statements. Based on black and grey tones, the Design Collection creates a sense of timeless permanence where less is more. A monochromatic palette aimed at modern, urbanites.
• The Natural Collection – Making nature part of the home. Embrace holistic and conscious living, a colour palette guided by nature to build homes in harmony with their surroundings. Inspired by the scents, sounds, and textures found in nature, the colours awaken multiple senses. A palette guided by nature with colours such as Cocoa Brown, Sand Yellow and Ocean Blue for growing families with a love of the outdoors.
• The Classic Collection – The epitome of elegance. Enhance your way of living. A harmonious colour palette selected to create a calming and inviting atmosphere. With a palette of light and soft tones, the collection imbues a home with an atmosphere of ease, beauty and timelessness. With elegant Chalk White, Pebble Grey and Tea Green, this collection is aimed at an older family, typically living in the suburbs.
• The Expressive Collection – A rich palette with Metal Green, Brick Red and Pewter Grey, ideal for those wanting to put their own stamp onto an older property and for integrating modern materials in an extension or renovation.
