Eurobrick - A stone finish for McDonald's
We have been supplying McDonald’s Restaurants and its building contractors with our X-Clad system for over 30 years and over 1000 stores across the UK.
We have been working with DSM Roofing on McDonald’s Restaurants since 2011, supplying our cladding materials to countless projects. They have recently completed a two-storey new build restaurant in Glossop, Derbyshire. In this instance, a stone finish was required to meet planning requirements.
Our systems can be adapted to work with three different heights of stone slips, either from our Bradstone range or specially sourced stone slips, allowing you to create different patterns and finishes for exteriors. For the Glossop restaurant, we supplied 354m2 of 50mm thick X-Clad, along with specially ordered Forticrete A1 Ashlar Buff stone slips and corners and Marshalls Cromwell pitched weathered slips and corners, all cut to 20mm thick and pointed with our Standard Grey Europoint mortar. The stone slips are both manufactured products and the different finishes provide contrast in the design of the building.
The structure of the building was manufactured in a factory and transported to the site where Eurobrick cladding was installed by DSM Roofing. View case study.
