Timloc Joins Forces with Hull Samaritans to Support Mental Health and Suicide Prevent
Timloc Building Products, part of Alumasc Group plc, are pleased to announce their charity partnership for 2023/24 with Hull Samaritans.
Samaritans are a renowned charity organisation dedicated to providing vital support to those in emotional distress and making a significant difference in mental health crisis intervention.
Timloc Building Products aims to raise funds and awareness for the local Hull branch through various fundraising activities and team initiatives to support the Samaritans’ life-saving work. Timloc have kickstarted the partnership with an initial £150 donation to the charity.
Renowned for its commitment to offering round-the-clock support to individuals facing emotional turmoil, the Samaritans is a vital lifeline for those in need.
Responding to a call for help every 10 seconds, the team of nearly 20,000 trained listening volunteers provides non-judgmental, confidential support to individuals experiencing distress, anxiety, or suicidal thoughts.
The Hull branch is 1 of 201 Samaritans branches in the UK and took over 11,000 calls in 2022.
