Milbank Concrete support Earls Colne Primary School
After a long wait, Earls Colne Primary School are celebrating the successful addition of their newly developed library. Located at the centre of the school, the library offers students a free space to go to access a wide range of books.
As the library has been funded by the school, MCP were only too happy to help when Head Teacher, Jakki Sibley, reached out with a request for help in bringing the books to the library!
Spearheading the support, Sales & Estimating Manager, Sam Hayden and Supervisor, Lisa Hill, visited the school to hand over this comically large cheque (which the kids were thrilled with!) and received a special tour by four students who have been helping to categorise the new books. The students were excited to showcase the new space which is already sporting a growing number of books!
As a local business, we are committed to providing support within our local community and have made it a core part of our strategy, and we feel passionate about being a positive force for the care and development of the youth in our local area.
We join the school in their passion for a good book and hope the children continue to get lasting enjoyment from their new space.
