Southampton Style Street Furniture still popular after 60 years
Neptune Street Furniture Ltd first began producing concrete street furniture in the 1960's. One of the original products, the Southampton Seat, was designed in conjunction with Southampton City Council, is still in production today and as popular as ever.
Sheet Parish Council recently ordered another 5 seats and a picnic table to be installed by us around their local park area, overlooking a river and in a public BBQ area for all to enjoy. Manufactured with exposed aggregate seat legs with hardwood slats the Southampton range of street furniture is extremely hard wearing and the rustic appearance means it suits rural areas, forests and natural park settings extremely well.
“We are very pleased with the installation of our lovely benches and picnic table. They are all already being put to good use in the lovely weather we have been enjoying!” said Sheet Parish Council Clerk.
