Kingspan Access Floors is the world leader in the access flooring sector and the only access flooring company in the UK that has been in existence long enough to be able to stand by our 25 year Total System Warranty. We have supplied and installed access flooring for a variety of applications, including; general offices, data centres, retail and education.  Our history goes right back to 1903 and our workforce of today now has a combined total of more than 2,000 years of service and experience in the industry. We have a proud tradition of helping to add the finishing touches to some of the most prestigious buildings in the UK and throughout the world.  Kingspan Access Floors is ISO 9001: 2008 accredited for both its manufacturing and installation operations. Our highly automated factory in Hull can produce more than 170,000 floor panels per week – all designed and manufactured to the latest industry standards and backed up by our industry-leading in-house product testing and technical support facilities. Recently also accredited to BS OHSAS 18001 for Health and Safety.

Our product range

Our extensive product range is designed to meet the needs of a variety of buildings and uses. Each component is designed and manufactured to comply with the demands of both of the established raised flooring specifications: PSA PF2 PS and BS EN 12825. Floor voids can be created, with standard products, from 20mm up to 2000mm and we can also design bespoke systems for any height and any loading requirement.

PSA Products – UK Standard:

Kingspan were actively involved in the creation of the PSA (Public Services Agency) MOB PF2 PS performance standards prior to their release in 1992. This standard is still the de facto reference for the UK construction sector, as its stringent full system compliance metrics are clearly defined, straightforward and well understood by architects, specifiers and contractors.

BSEN Products:

BSEN 12825 is designed to ensure that all European manufacturers are able to classify their products under a single standard, irrespective of their performance. It is therefore a method of comparing raised flooring performance using common test criteria. The extensive classification index can be used to drive a detailed specification for any building.  Significantly BS EN 12825 does not require manufacturers to provide independent test data. The emphasis is placed on the manufacturer to self-certify their test results and guarantee product performance against the defined measures.
