Profab Concealed Riser Doors
Profab Concealed Riser Doors have evolved over 16 years, predominantly lead by architects looking for a higher fire performing an alternative to traditional timber riser doors, without compromising on aesthetics. Frequently specified by architects in commercial and residential buildings where clean and concealed maintenance-free access is required to mechanical or electrical services within the riser shaft.
Designed and manufactured in our UK factory to your exact specification, Profab Riser Doors fit seamlessly in masonry walls, shaft walls & drywall partitions.
As standard, our metal riser doors come 2-hour fire rated 3rd party certified by CERTIFIRE, 35dB acoustic rated, smoke sealed & Airtight to Part L.
Riser doors can be upgraded to achieve 42dB and 44dB acoustic ratings.

Access solutions manufacturer Access 360 has supported more than 4,000 industry professionals with the very latest guidance on regulations and best practice through its RIBA-accredited CPD’s across 2023.
A total of 4,308 specifiers have attended across 133 CPD events, a mixture of 36 face-to-face sessions and 97 online, with July seeing a record 737 attendees spread across the month.
The sessions are delivered by Access 360’s experienced team of Specification Sales Managers and include Fire & Smoke Access Solutions, a popular CPD which explores the fundamentals of fire ratings and certification, in addition to successfully managing access, fire safety and security requirements for commercial and residential buildings.
The Roof Access and Natural Smoke Ventilation for Flat Roofs CPD outlines current practice regarding the provision of smoke ventilation and roof access, whilst discussing new design considerations and applications as a result of latest Building Regulations. It also provides best practice guidance on the installation of roof safety products.

With plasterers and dryliners officially listed on the UK Government’s shortage occupations list in August 2023, Profab Access is helping to combat the current shortage of construction professionals through its continuous commitment to innovation.
As one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of riser doors and access panels, Profab Access is calling for dryliners to adopt an alternative approach to the installation of riser doors that can cut fitting times by up to 30%, without negatively impacting compliance or performance.
This can be achieved by utilising Profab Access’ patented PRECISION Adjustable Frame system, which is supplied as standard with its VEGA 1500 Series and INTEGRA 4000 Series riser doors to support fast, safe and simpler installation methods.
The expertly engineered frame streamlines the installation process as it can be fully adjusted to meet the specific dimensions of each structural opening when installed into a flexible or solid wall construction.
Featuring a continual adjustable steel packer system, the PRECISION adjustable frame ensures the installation is fit for purpose by providing the highest standards in accuracy, whilst also removing the requirement for traditionally used packers during installation.
It also features built in factory applied intumescent fire rated mastic strips to the outer frame, which provides fire stopping between the wall and the frame. This eliminates the reliance on the correct thickness of intumescent mastic bead being applied, removing any potential margin for error and ensuring compliance and adequacy of the entire installation.
The PRECISION Adjustable Frame has been bi-directionally fire tested and certified by accredited third parties as an entire doorset with the VEGA 1500 Series for up to 60 minutes and INTEGRA 4000 Series for up to 120 minutes to comply with the latest building regulations.
This provides dryliners with a completely certified solution as both the frame and the riser door have been bi-directionally tested as a single doorset and are supplied with comprehensive documentation to evidence their performance credentials and adherence to all relevant regulations, including BS EN 1634-1:2014 +A1:2018.
