Hedgehog Highway by Timloc Donates £1,000 to Castleford Hedgehog Rescue

Timloc Building Products, part of the Alumasc Group plc, has proudly donated £1,000 to Castleford Hedgehog Rescue.

Supporting the local charity’s vital work in rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing hedgehogs.

Thanks to sales of Timloc’s innovative Hedgehog Highway, a simple yet effective solution that helps hedgehogs roam freely between gardens and urban spaces, a donation was made to support vital hedgehog charities.

Hedgehog populations in the UK have been declining over the years, with habitat loss, road traffic incidents and enclosed gardens all contributing to their struggles.

Hedgehogs can travel up to 2km each night in search of food, water, and shelter, but garden fences and walls often block their paths, leaving them vulnerable and isolated.

A Hedgehog Highway by Timloc installed provides a vital lifeline, creating safer routes for hedgehogs to roam freely and thrive.

Castleford Hedgehog Rescue plans to use the donation to fund the development of a new rescue centre, allowing them to expand their care and rehabilitation work.
