Hockcliffe Street Baptist Church recently installed a new door and an internal glass screen to create a spacious and welcoming entrance foyer. The church was delighted with the result, saying: 'We have been struck by the professionalism shown from the start from initial enquiries and negotiations through to completion...there has been nothing but admiration for the new entry and foyer area. A big thank you to all your folk who have achieved such an impressive result!'
Extensive use of structural glass at St Mary's at the Quay transformed a disused city centre church into an award-winning heritage and well-being centre. Ion installed a frameless glass porch, balustrades, meeting rooms and acoustic glass panels. The project was the RICS Building Conservation Award Winner and commended for the Civic Trust Awards. Visitors described the result as 'a wonderful mix of old and modern, beautiful and special'.
The bespoke glass doors to St Anne's Church in Soho transformed the entrance, incorporating a metal cross into the design and featuring the church name in bold neon lighting. The new entrance and foyer won the Presidents Award in the reordering, extension or alteration to church buildings category in Church Architecture Awards. The Rector said: "I am delighted that such a relatively small scheme has created such a big impact."
We'd love to delight you and your clients with beautiful, impressive (and award-winning) results in bespoke structural glass.
