Adopting a ‘business as usual’ approach during these unprecedented times is our primary focus whilst ensuring the safety, health and welfare of all our colleagues and those connected to us.
We have recently adopted and successfully implemented several measures throughout the business to observe and follow the guidance offered to us by the local public health authorities. We have been looking at how we best serve existing demand levels, improve our lead times and responsiveness, as well as modelling our operational effectiveness. Given this, we will adopt the following measures:
A temporary pause of our MEDITE and SMARTPLY manufacturing operations for 1 week from the 13th April.
Our lead times will return to 2-3 weeks for MEDITE and 1-2 weeks for SMARTPLY, for our ‘standard' products, with effect from 6th April, subject to availability at time of order.
Scheduled deliveries will continue as normal into all markets and territories, during this planned downtime, subject to complying with local country regulations.
Our customer service and sales organisation will remain operational through-out this period.
As MEDITE SMARTPLY has been classified as an ‘essential business activity’ by the Irish Government, we plan to return to full operational capability following this period or as soon as is reasonable to do so.
Should customer closures extend, or demand levels become increasingly supressed, we may extend this period further. We do plan however, to retain uninterrupted delivery capability throughout this period.
This approach will allow us to continue to serve our customers, protect our employees and remain sufficiently agile to return to normal operations as soon as economically feasible.
