Coronavirus | Message from the Board regarding general delivery capability and prevention measures at Uzin Utz

Due to the current development of the coronavirus and the recommendations of the Public Health Authorities, we have decided to give the highest priority to the protection of our employees, business partners and service providers in order to minimise further expansion. At the same time, it is equally important to us to maintain production and continue to provide our customers with reliable product and system solutions. We also monitor our supply chains on a daily basis and do our utmost to maintain our ability to deliver.

As a result of the new information and recommendations from the authorities on a daily basis, we ask for your understanding that we will not be able to keep any planned personal appointments until further notice. Of course our sales and technical teams are still available for you to contact by telephone and e-mail.

However, in order to enable remote working, we are also dependent on your support. If possible, please send us your orders by e-mail to uksales@uzin-utz.com. We can then help ensure there is no loss in time or communication and that your deliveries are on time over the next few weeks.

If you would like to collect orders from our warehouse in Northampton a self-assessment form needs to be completed and returned to us at least 48 hours prior to arrival. Should any questions come back as ‘yes’ or the self-assessment is not complete access will be prohibited. Please e-mail uksales@uzin-utz.com for a form.

We have also been notified regarding changes to pallet network operations due to the COVID-19, its seems that only electronic PODs will be put in place (no physical paper work) and timed deliveries will be suspended until further notice.

Of course we will keep you informed about further developments. We are confident that we will overcome this new challenge together with you.
