As part of a large extension, Saffron Health medical centre has successfully created a highly adaptable space where doctors, nurses and other staff can run briefings, meetings, training sessions and other activities related to this busy public facility.
Working with P&HS Architects and Wildgoose Construction, partitioning experts Style installed two manually operated Dorma Hüppe Variflex ML100 moveable wall systems, allowing the area to be quickly divided into three smaller rooms, one large and one small room or a single open-plan space.
The capital investment in the moveable walls will deliver a good return in the long run, saving money by accommodating several meetings at one time, avoiding the need to hire external training rooms or to pay for staff to travel to other medical centres.
Saffron Health is a GP facility in Leicester that plays a vital part in the local community offering both medical and training services. Better meeting the needs of both current and future users of the centre, the newly constructed two storey extension provides additional consulting and treatment rooms, a new waiting area and minor surgery suite as well as a number of meeting rooms.
