Fire Stopping: Construction Joints and Service Penetrations:
Nullifire’s fire stopping solutions have been designed to maintain building compartmentation in a fire situation. This range of fire stopping products can provide from 30 to 240 minutes fire rated solutions for construction movement joints and service penetrations.
Flexible intumescent gap seal: Water resistant compressible seal offers fire, smoke and acoustic performance for horizontal and vertical structural movement joints, with up to 50% movement. SYSTEM J2000

Nullifire SC902 specified for ‘singleton' distillery
One of Scotland's most famous whisky distilleries is undergoing an ambitious redevelopment project in order to meet increased demand from overseas. The steelwork for the new build elements of the work are being given fire protection using Nullifire's revolutionary new one coat intumescent SC902 system.
A competitor's epoxy based product had initially been specified for the contract on the Glen Ord Distillery near Inverness, where Robertson Construction is the main contractor, and Edinburgh based Blyth & Blyth, the project engineers. However, Avesta Scotland - the specialist sub-contractor appointed to apply the fire protection to the steelwork - put forward SC902 as an alternative system.
As a result, Avesta is applying close to 500 square metres of the hybrid, high build intumescent. Such is the speed of application for the system that sections of the steelwork can receive their full two hours' fire protection within a period of hours; while other attributes have proved just as attractive for the project team.
Steve McClure, a Director of Avesta Scotland, comments: "The original specification for the work at the Glen Ord distillery was for an epoxy intumescent, but there are challenges in trying to apply that, so we put forward the new Nullifire product on the basis of the company's track record and the performance parameters of the SC902; especially the corrosion resistance.
"Although we had used one drum of the product on a trial, we sent two of our applicators down to Nullifire's premises in Coventry to be fully trained in the correct technique; and we have also had very good technical support from the Area Manager. So far we have made two, two day visits and are half way through the application.
"We are keen to make use of the SC902 product because of its corrosion resistance and application characteristics. It just seems to be a more robust product for the UK climate, where wet weather is so often an issue"
Nullifire expects SC902, and the off-site applied version of the system, SC901 to win a significant share of the large intumescent coatings market for structural steelwork, as specifiers come to realise the potential for shortening the time taken to achieve required levels of protection.

Nullifire launches time saving fire protection system
Nullifire, the UK market leader in passive fire coatings technology, has developed two new ground breaking products under the banner of the SC900 series.
Unlike traditional water-based intumescent coatings specified to protect structural steelwork, the SC900 series can be applied in a single coat of up to 6.5mm thickness. Reducing application and drying times by over 60% compared to similar systems that require multiple applications, the same 120 minute fire protection is achieved; but allowing following works to commence far quicker.
SC901 has been developed for off-site fabricators and is touch dry within one hour; crucially it is transportable in just eight hours, thus freeing up valuable workspace within the factory, while accelerating the overall production process.
SC902, meanwhile, has been formulated for utilizing on-site, where the one-coat application becomes weather resistant within one hour. Effectively the new Nullifire system can take days off the critical path for constructing steel framed structures. From a health and safety angle, less time is also spent working at height, cutting the risk of accidents.
