Howe Green launches a new Galvanised Steel Floor Access Cover range
One of the UK’s leading manufacturers of floor access solutions, Howe Green, has expanded its portfolio of access solutions with the launch of its new Galvanised Steel Floor Access Covers, which deliver first class performance and attractive affordability.
Galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461, the range includes three configurations of floor access covers, which support fast and safe installation manufactured in single, Duct Run or Multipart configurations with bespoke shapes available on request to meet each project’s unique requirements.
Each model within the new range is FACTA A - D rated, withstanding forces of up to 108kN or 11 tonnes, such as those found at heavy duty plant areas and service roads making the range suitable for internal and external applications. Higher FACTA ratings can be also be manufactured on request through additional reinforcement in the support structure.

Each product range has a maximum clear opening of 900 x 900 mm, a minimum clear opening of 300 x 300 mm and an outer frame maximum of 1100 x 1000 mm. The 7500 galvanised Series offers a maximum stone depth of 55mm, whilst the 1050 galvanised Series features a stone depth of up to 85mm.
Howe Green’s team of engineering experts can also design and manufacture deeper recesses and bespoke shapes upon request, to meet the most demanding site requirements. As an official Made In Britain manufacturer, every Howe Green product is designed and manufactured at its UK site in Hertfordshire.
The Galvanised 1050 Series and 7500 Series’ crown vapour seal protects against dirt ingress and the EDPM construction acts as a barrier to reduce the flow of water within the unit.
Lifting points are available either at the corners or inset and are available with UKPN lifting keyholes, certification pending.
