KEE KLAMP cast iron fittings and KEE LITE lightweight aluminium fittings offer an extensive range of components which can be used to develop bespoke safety railing, handrail and guardrail solutions. A Constantly Developing Product Range
The KEEGUARD Roof Fall Protection System is a world leader in its field, providing a reliable permanent fall protection system that does not penetrate the roof membrane. A tested and proven counterbalance system, this modular roof guardrail system meets or exceeds prescribed fall prevention safety standards including OSHA, EU Directives & CDM Regulations.
Specifically developed for skylight fall protection, KEE DOME is a free standing guardrail system which does not penetrate the roof membrane. Supported by recycled PVC weights, this product provides an easily constructed skylight barrier which can remain as a permanent fixture or be easily dismantled and moved elsewhere.
The KEE ANCHOR dead weight man anchor system is designed for use where collective protection is not a viable option. A modular system, KEE ANCHOR has been designed to provide a safe working environment where either fall arrest or fall restraint is required. The basis of our system is the WEIGHTANKA dead weight product which is suitable for use on a number of roof surfaces. Additionally this can be used to link a horizontal safety line between numbers of base systems to which a worker can attach for safe access along a roof; this being known as our WIREANKA system. The dead weight also forms the platform from which ACCESSANKA can be attached which offers a safe portable product for rope access workers to abseil down buildings. The KEE ANCHOR product family offers a cost effective solution to working at height.
KEELINE is a wire based personal protection system for roof installation or horizontal / overhead applications on structures. It conforms to EN795 Class C and is CE approved to meet the PPE Directive.
KEE WALK is a modular system which provides a safe, anti-slip, level walking surface for anyone who needs to access a roof. It can be used on flat, barrel and sloping roofs, with steps and a traverse option.
Our Fall Protection portfolio also includes a range of safety eyebolts KEE IBOLT and a range of of anchor points for flat and pitched roofs KEE ROOFPOINT.

ACCESS FOR ALL WITH KEE SAFETY

Kee Safety developed its Kee Access® range of cast iron fittings to help satisfy the requirements of the Equality Act 2010 and Building Regulation Approved Document M when designing and constructing balustrading and handrailing for commercial and public buildings.
Under the terms of the Equality Act 2010, reasonable adjustments need to be made to public and commercial establishments to overcome physical barriers which prevent disabled access. The Building Regulations recommend an outside diameter tube size for installations of between 40mm-45mm. Kee Access® components are specifically designed to give a smooth handrail with size 7 tube (outside diameter 42.4mm) ensuring compatibility with the regulations.
Part of the company’s Safety Components range, Kee Access® incorporates a total of nineteen special fittings and is supplied with versatility, ease and speed of installation in mind. These fittings are ideal as a retrofit solution, because the range includes an “Add-on” offset fitting to allow a new handrail to be added onto an existing structure of appropriate size. The Kee Access® range can be easily augmented with components from the established Kee Klamp® range to create a complete, cost-effective answer to the Equality Act requirements. To satisfy the “not cold to the touch” criteria set out in BS 8300: 2005, these galvanised fittings are available with the additional option of powder coating in all RAL colours.
Given the requirements of the Equlity Act and Building Regulations, the building trade should aim to create a handrail system which children, the elderly, the disabled and even able-bodied adults can benefit. ‘Safety is Kee’ and thanks to innovations like Kee Access®, they can meet this challenge in a very cost-effective way.
WALK SAFELY AT THE LANCASTERS WITH KEE SAFETY

Kee Safety’s fall protection product, Kee Walk® was installed at a high profile refurbishment project in the heart of London. The Lancasters required a permanent roof top safety solution to support those accessing the roof, and which would be unobtrusive to the overall design.
Formerly fifteen houses and a hotel, the Lancasters property has been transformed into seventy seven high end luxury apartments. The dilapidated building underwent a complete refurbishment to recreate its former grandeur. Whilst the façade remained in place, the interior was demolished and completely rebuilt to create a property which encompasses traditional architecture with brand new design and construction. With a new roof in place, the building required a safety solution to allow access to the rooftop. Property management company, Acescott Management Services, was contracted to specify and install a suitable system.
“With such a clear emphasis on aesthetics for this prestigious project, we wanted to specify a safe and reliable system which would not detract from the overall appearance” says Adrian Dye, Divisional Manager at Acescott Management Services. “Kee Walk® was new to the market at the time, but having worked with Kee Safety previously, we were confident the product would match up to the quality of its other fall protection systems. Having completed the project, we would definitely specify with Kee Walk® again as it allowed us to meet the specification correctly, as well as being a cost effective and easy to install product.”
Kee Walk® is an off-the-shelf, modular system which can be adapted to a wide range of different roof types, pitches and configurations. Acescott Management Services were impressed with the system due to the ease and speed of installation. The team successfully installed eight runs in less than two days. Another key feature which was highlighted on this project is the ability to adjust the system on site.
Providing a level, anti-slip walking surface, Kee Walk® modules can be easily connected together to form a clear demarcation route. This ensures that the roof is protected from unnecessary damage with the pedestrian weight uniformly loaded across the surface of the walkway. Kee Walk® is ideally suited to flat, barrel and sloping surfaces. Kee Walk® is supplied in standard modules, which can be supplied ex-stock for rapid installation on virtually any rooftop project. The modules are supplied as 1.5m and 3m pre-assembled sections to suit the requirements of different roofs.
