Passive Fire Protection Products.
Mayplas passive fire protection products include cavity fire barriers and cavity stops that are a made to measure fire and acoustic barrier which provides 60 minutes fire resistance and sound control between the outer brickwork and inner timber frames. Our 553 Firestop Strip is a firestop strip for voids at the junction of compartment walls and floors and our Cavity fire stop provides 1 hours fire resistance in voids between raised access floors and concrete floor slabs.
Mayplas Firestop Block consists of trapezoidal fire proof blocks for infilling profiled steel decks and the Mayplas Firestop Slab provides 2 hours fire resistance in masonry cavity voids between the edge of a concrete floor slab and curtain walling systems.
Acoustic Insulation.
Mayplas manufacture an extensive range of acoustic insulation products for floors, walls, roofs and ceilings. Our range includes acoustic cavity stops and cavity closers. Fire rated and non fire rated Acoustic insulation pads for metal tray suspended ceilings. Acoustic Roof Slabs for overlaying the inner sheet of double skinned roofing systems as well as various acoustic slabs, foams and panels for floors and walls. Many of our acoustic insulation products also provide thermal insulation and passive fire protection.
Thermal Insulation.
Mayplas are specialist manufacturers of thermal insulation products. We manufacture thermal insulation for floors, walls, roofs and H&V ductwork. Our products include foil faced or paper faced, rock wool or glassfibre Flanged Rolls for between studwork, rafters and ceiling joists or between double skinned industrial buildings.
Our floor insulation products include thermal insulation boards, panels, foams and slabs including laminated insulated chipboards.
Mayplas roof insulation includes specialist insulation for profiled roof claddings and thermal insulation slabs for use as ‘warm roof’ rafter insulation within pitched roofs.
