DULUX TRADE PAINT ADDS COLOUR TO DURABLE FLAT MATT RANGE
Paint manufacturer, AkzoNobel, has extended its Dulux Trade Durable Flat Matt range to include tinted colours. With the launch of three new bases, decorating professionals can now offer their customers a highly durable flat matt finish in a choice of over 14,000 shades.
Durable Flat Matt, which will replace the company’s current Flat Matt product, has been developed to provide greater resilience and opacity. As well as providing the premium flat matt finish that customers are looking for, Durable Flat Matt offers coverage of up to 17m2 per litre and meets Class 1 [1] for durability in performance testing.
“Our aim is to give the trade a great choice of products that they can trust and rely on,” said Hazel Shelmerdine, Brand Manager for Dulux Trade Core. “So, following the successful launch of the Durable Flat Matt White last year, we decided to roll out the range further. With the new bases, appliers can now get a fashionable flat matt finish quickly and easily, and give their customers a more hard wearing result in the colour they love.”
Dulux Trade Durable Flat Matt is a water-based formulation for use on interior walls and ceilings. The new Durable Flat Matt bases will be rolled out across stores throughout 2012.

DULUX TRADE CONTINUES ITS DRIVE TO SUPPORT THE TRADE
Dulux Trade has launched a national voucher promotion to provide painters and decorators with significant cost savings on its range of trade paint.
Throughout the promotion, painters and decorators will be able to download a whole host of discount vouchers (on a range of Dulux Trade products), together worth over £50 in total. The vouchers are available to download now from www.duluxtrade.co.uk/vouchers.*
The money-off promotions available include deals such as £7 off any Weathershield Undercoat or Gloss products and £6 off Dulux Trade Satinwood or Eggshell paints.
This latest initiative is part of a long-term commitment by Dulux Trade to support painters, and encourage homeowners to use a professional tradesman when decorating.
