Creativity
Twyford became famous for creative product ideas, beautiful design, reliable quality. Thomas William, who became Managing Director at 23, issued shares to his managers, and made Twyford a limited company in 1919. He established a tradition of innovation which has continued to this day.

Through the twentieth century, Twyford emerged successfully from two world wars, and many other challenges. In 1956 the company built an all-new factory at Alsager, Stoke on Trent which now supports a huge distribution centre, the size of 5 football fields.
