Matsdirect are leading UK manufacturers and suppliers of primary and secondary entrance matting systems. We supply entrance matwells, entrance Door Matting and door mats. Our entrance matwells are tested to SATRA TM144 for slip resistance and they all achieved a HIGH resistance to slipping in both wet and dry conditions. We supply bespoke entrance mattwells for use in both light, medium and heavy traffic entrance floor areas. For the prevention of electrical shocks whilst working with electrical switchboards and switchgear our electrical swichboard safety matting is fully compliant and tested to BS921, D178, IDE61111. We also supply electrical Anti-Static matting for workbenches and PVC static dissipative anti-static floor mats. Fully certified, stamped and tested to 11Kv, 15kv, 20Kv, 30Kv, 40kv, 50Kv.

Hospital puts patients comfort first with Diamond entrance matting from MatsDirect U.K. When a consultant at the new Whiston hospital was transferring a new born critically ill baby to another part of the hospital using an incubator they passed over a metal rib entrance matting system he noticed the baby bounced around the incubator so the consultant immediately stopped the transfer and had the baby carried over the matting. As this is part of the newly built multi-million pound project he decided to contact the cleaning and maintenance department as well as the architects and construction company to find out if a better matting system could be used to make any patients journey in, out or around the hospital much more comfortable. In conjunction with construction company Vinci the St Helens & Knowsley Hospitals NHS Trust and Vinci facilities management the solution was found in MatsDirect U.K. Limited,s Rubber modular Diamond multi-directional entrance matting system. The system is designed to make travelling the entrance matting smooth in any direction as it incorporates pads instead of the traditional ribs and is ideal for any wheeled traffic. The product uses diamond rubber pads along with flexible rubber fingers to remove grit and dirt and has a nylon barrier carpet pad that absorbs moisture making it the ideal matting system. Being highly competitively priced it made sense to the trust to make sure all other entrances on the site where fitted with Diamond. The Prestigious European headquarters of a blue chip company situated in Middlesex had problems with their entrance matting systems. After looking at the various matting options available the facilities management approved 3 products offered by MatsDirect UK. All of the 17 internal matwells around the site were fitted with the Heavy Duty MD1000 Matrix entrance matting. Constructed of a Rubber & Nylon Carpet rib creating a modular system. The main restaurant entrance had the MD9600 Corpromat logo mat system incorporated into it. All of the 12 external matwells which are partly covered and open to the elements required a different approach and Matsdirect were able to supply the MD5000 Concourse HD entrance matting system. This is constructed of 2 Rubber profiles in a rib modular system which whilst keeping grit and debris contained it is not affected by the elements including water snow etc. MatsDirect ....innovators in problem solving.
