High quality, precision engineered, entrance doors from Hörmann offer class leading thermal efficiency and high levels of security in a wide range of contemporary and classic styles and designs to enhance any home.
The commitment to quality without compromise that has seen Hörmann established as the market leader in garage and industrial doors is now being applied to the entrance and internal door sector. Available from outlets across the country many styles are available with matching garage doors to give the complete face- lift package.
Designed specifically for the UK, classic styles in the ThermoPro range appear to be traditional wooden doors but are actually a steel faced construction on a timber sub frame, insulated with CPC free rigid PU foam. These doors exceed industry standards for thermal
efficiency, have 8 point locking as standard and thresholds that include thermal breaks.
The attention to detail that includes three way adjustable hinges, double all-round seals, rain canopy and brush seal at the bottom result in doors that are highly stable, easy to open and weather sealed.
Benefiting from these design details the Aluminium door ranges available from Hörmann offer even wider contemporary styling options with WK2 level security and automatic five point locking as standard. Thermal efficiency is taken to higher levels with the TopPrestigePlus model featuring 70mm thick insulation inside the aluminium construction.
All doors are produced in standard white with a range of colours available. The ThermoPro range can be ordered in 15 preferred colours or in one of three Decograin finishes, Golden Oak, Dark Oak and Titan Metallic. The range of colours available for the top of the range aluminium doors are effectively limitless with all RAL standard colours available to order.
With an established reputation for value for money Hörmann has added three new entrance doors at special prices as a part of their 75th anniversary range. Both the new RenoDoor 75 and TopSecure 75 are 35% cheaper than the equivalent ThermoPro and TopPrestige Aluminium doors they are,respectively, based on.

From the unusual sedum and zinc roofs to the external finish, ‘The Wynd’ reflects a creative approach, but meets the criteria for home buyers when it comes to practicality, maintenance and security and these themes are continued in the specification of garage door.
A1 Garage Doors of Newcastle supplied and installed the timber sectionals along with Hörmann SupraMatic Electric operators which are ideally suited for heavier timber doors.
Offering the best in safety and security, the SupraMatic features a patented door security kit and automatically reverses if the door encounters an obstruction. Additionally the toothed belt drive system is virtually maintenance free.
Hemlock is one of the most durable timber products available and that is one of the main reasons why it was specified for this development as coastal locations can be demanding environments. To further increase protection against the elements and insect or fungal attack, all Hörmann timber doors are pre-treated and impregnated in a double immersion bath process at the factory.
Because of the increased material weight Hörmann supplies their timber sectional doors with torsion spring technology to ensure smooth operation and longevity of operating parts, while the doors themselves come with a ten-year guarantee.
