Noberne Doors is a privately owned specialist door and doorset manufacturer, based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. It was one of the first door manufacturing companies to achieve BS5750 back in 1987. This was successfully converted to ISO 9000 and ISO 9001 in 2000.

Noberne Doors is a founder member of the BM TRADA "Q" mark scheme, a third party accredited scheme which audits it’s member companies both by inspection and audit tests of products. Noberne is also a founder member of ASDMA - Association of Specialist Door Manufacturers. This organisation was set up in 1989 to promote the interests of UK manufacturers and to promote high standards of manufacture.

Noberne are a technically biased company with involvement on the Steering Committee of the Fire Test Study Group. Our catalogue has the emphasis on technical issues and details, and is a starting point for specification.

Noberne are able to offer a wide portfolio of bespoke products in a wide range of finishes including paint grade finish, laminates and veneers. We are also Formica lifeseal fabricators. Project sizes can be from one door to thousands of doors. Doors can be offered as doorsets including frames, architraves and hinges as well as factory glazing.

Timber Fire Doors & Doorsets
Fire doors and Fire doorsets are available up to FD120 Fire rating to BS 476Pt22, including some sizes from stock. Many unique designs are on offer including 38mm thick FD30 doors and 46mm thick FD60 doors as well as Panel and Joiner made fire rated doors. Noberne manufacture both single and double leaf timber fire doors.

X-Ray Doors & Hospital Doors.
Noberne are particularly well known in the Hospital sector and are able to offer X-Ray doorsets. We are fully compliant with the HTM58 design guide.

Acoustic Doorsets.
Invariably Acoustic doorsets are required in Public buildings and Noberne is able to offer a wide range of Acoustic solutions to RW40dB.

Security & Bullet Resistant Doors.
Security is an important issue and again Noberne can offer Security and Bullet resistant doors. Our bullet resistant doorsets are tested in accordance with British Standard 5051 Part 1 1973.

Fire Screens.
Fire rated screens can be offered to complement FD30 and FD60 Fire doorsets.

For the budget conscious client, Noberne have a range of Blank derived doors in the Dequette brand, and have exclusive distribution rights for Dequette in the United Kingdom.
