DuPont™ Typar® SF
DuPont™ Typar® SF is a thermally bonded nonwoven geotexile, made of 100% polypropylene which is designed to have a combination of a high initial modulus (stiffness), high elongation (typically > 50%) and outstanding uniformity, to give superior performance, in all directions.
DuPont™ Typar® D filters
Composite Drains are geosynthetic materials, consisting mostly of a core material and one or several geotextile filters.
Their function is to provide for a transport of water, leachate or gas. DuPont™ Typar® D are heat-bonded, made of continuous filaments, 100% polypropylene.
Uses and Applications.
Roads applications:
Rutting is a substantial aspect to consider especially for temporary roads structure. The regular passage of transport on the structure causes in-plane tensile stresses and activates related membranes and restrains mechanisms. DuPont™ Typar® SF products are especially designed to respond to this needs.
Railways applications:
Ideal for both new track laying and existing renovation DuPont™ Typar® helps avoid ballast contamination, allows better compacting, retains soil particles without clogging and ensures longer service life.
Drainage applications:
DuPont™ Typar® is ideally suited for road and civil engineering drainage, wall drainage, agricultural and pipe drains, basement drainage, landfill drainage and blanket drains in roads and sports fields.
Erosion control applications:
DuPont™ Typar® provides important erosion control for roads, roofing systems, landscaping, building foundations and footpaths.
