The Queen’s Award for Environmental Achievement.
Johnson Tiles have achieved ISO 14001 environmental management accreditation and hold the BSI Kitemark for products manufactured at Stoke on Trent. The company has an Environmental Policy and it’s unique ceramic waste recycling scheme has been widely recognised.

In 1997 the company received The Queen’s Award for Environmental Achievement in addition to several other industry awards for the recycling project. In May 2009, Johnson Tiles was 25th in The Sunday Times Top 60 Best Green Companies Awards having been 27th in 2008. Today the recycled ceramic content in products manufactured at Stoke on Trent is 25%.
